I purchased the grey version initially. It has white LEDs, while the blue one has blue LEDs. Having to open it to take a photo can be an inconvenience. After a month of use it has already started to show signs of wear at the hinge area, and has a small tear. This is from folding the case back, and holding it from the flap itself. Having the extra protection for the screen is great, and it doesn't add much bulk like some cases tend to do. It allows you to set different icons for your phone contacts, and even create custom icons. Changing your music without opening it is a nice touch as well. The card holder fits one card card well, two will cause stretching over time. All and all a great concept, if the price was lower I'd feel better about the flaws it has.

This case is great, the front LED display helps with screening important calls and notifications. I use the front card for my ID and with Samsung pay and other payment apps I can go to many places with out needing to carry my wallet with me. The one issue I have had is when the LED display is on it can interrupt wireless charging, and if you have certain notifications you haven't cleared the display will keep reminding you of those notifications which results in continuous interruption of wireless charging.

The Samsung LED case is a nice addition to my Note 8. I wasn't sure how well I would like a folio style case, but I have actually enjoyed it, although it is a little bit of a hassle holding the phone and using the camera. The LED customizing app lets me customize the readout for different callers in my contact list. That does let me be creative. The case has held up pretty well for the 2 months I have had it, but it is showing signs of a little wear at the bottom of the hinge. While it is a neat accessory, I think the nearly $60 price tag is excessive. I pulled a star for pricing.

Love that you can answer and view calls without even opening the case. Has a place for cards on inside. You can customize each contact with a picture or make your own. Only one less star because I’ve had my phone fall twice and the front phone case always seems to open up and fall right on the screen .

Protech’s and allows quick viewing.Cover protects more than adequately from drops and spills and keeps the dust down. Also let you know the time they can answer phone calls with a cover close. All in all, a great buy.

The obvious problems with a flip case aside I think this thing is a delight to use. It says it has room for a credit card slot but when I put a card in there I feel like the lid doesn't close well enough. So I'm not using that. you can configure the LEDs to any pattern you want and you can change which pattern appears for different notifications. You can even silence your alarm clock from it if you're too lazy to open the case. I worry about its water resistance and shock resistance. No claims were made About either of these so technically it's fine I just wish I knew more about them without having to find out the hard way

I can use this case with the wireless charger with no problem. I like the protection of the glass by the flip cover. This is a great case!

This is a perfect fit. Iluminates the time, displays a text msg, and shows phone symbol. Not bulky, great add on.

This is a cool case and a Samsung product. it can display time, caller, icons on the cover even when it is closed. You can design your LED own icons. and you can also interact with it as if it is your phone's screen. It tends to seemingly going to break apartby the hinges when you try to remove your phone so when you have it on, don't plan on taking your phone out anymore until case is due for replacement. It's a good thing, Best buy was able to do an exchange.

This is a great case. I dropped it once and luckily it hit directly on the corner of the case. I definitely recommend a screen protector with this case because when i dropped it i noticed that the flapp open. If i wouldnt have had a screen protector I would probably ahd a couple of scratches on my screen. The front of the case is cool when you shut it it display the time and also the screen shuts off so you save alot of battery witht this case.

Perfect cover for the Note 8. I luv the way I can see my notifications or who's calling without having to open it. You can answer or reject calls from the cover protects the phone from sctatches, but if you are one of those people that drop their phone a lot you may want to look at a different case. This one doesn't have any kind of magnetic closure so it may open if dropped & not be able to protect phone.

The case is very nice and works as advertised with a display on the outside before you open the case. This is very helpful in displaying phone #s when a call comes in so you know if you want to answer. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it should have more slots/pockets for credit cards etc. I have seen other cases--not for the Note 8 that do have 4 or 5 slots rather than just one.

Can answer while the cover is on. You can personalize it to where you know who's calling without opening the cover. Holds a driver's license and credit card perfectly. Pop socket also sticks to it just fine.

Looks great can answer calls and control music like it a lot
