So here's the honest truth from a fan of most movies. Don't compare it to any gangster movie you've ever seen, or you'll be disappointed. Don't compare it to any british movie, or you'll be disappointed. Don't compare it to any Tom Hardy movie or you'll be disappointed. Pretty much don't compare this movie to any thing else and you'll just have to judge this movie against itself where you will be .... shocker here ... disappointed. Please don't buy this movie.

Quality of the disc was excellent, but the movie sucked. Not worth the time watching this film. There are much better mob movies out there.

Different kind of gangster movie. Started sow but picked up as it went on. I give this movie a two star rating.

I was really show the great looking scenes in of the movie in the trailer that made me really want to see this movie. When i bought he BLU ray of the movie & went home to watch it for the first time, i was very dissapointed bye the movie. Really don't like english movies except Montie Python "The holy grail" that was the only english movie that i liked

I actually liked the original movie of the krays, but the remake was ok.

I was so excited to buy this movie. the previews looked great and action packed. however we got bored almost from the get go with this movie. we lasted about an hour into the movie and then turned it off. very disappointing.

Love tom hardy but this movie was a little long and hard to understand at times

"The Queen would survive, but God save the rest of us." London in the 1960's was run by two twin gangsters, Reggie and Ron Kray #Hardy#. Nothing happened without them knowing or allowing it. Reggie was calculating and deadly while Ron was a little psychotic and unstable. Eventually they only thing that could challenge their reign was each other. As many of you know by now I am a HUGE fan of gangster and mafia movies. I was looking forward to this one for that reason. I like Tom Hardy but never really got all the hype around him, until now. He was so good in this that it almost actually hurt the movie. He plays both brothers perfectly and to the point of you forgetting its the same actor. The dialog and intonation of his voice is even different. I've never seen anything like it and half the time I was staring at them, going back and forth trying to see similarities and failing. It also made me wonder if the movie would have been as good if it had not been for him. What it came down to was it doesn't matter, he is in it and I was just mesmerized by his acting in this. I say distracting because as good as this movie was all I could talk about was his performance, that isn't a bad thing though. Overall, this is a movie that I really enjoyed and highly recommend but the reason to watch is for the dual role played by Hardy. I give this movie a high B+.

From beginning to end I was stuck to the movie. Actors/actresses did a great job. The story of the Kray brothers is one interesting one. Only issue I had was it was hard to understand what Tom Hardy was saying as both brothers.

No other actor could pull off a double role like this. Hardy always brings something new to every character he plays. A true chameleon. He makes Reggie and Ronnie feel as if two different actors play them. I also loved the atmosphere, setting, and music in this movie. For a small budget, they did an excellent job.

Overall it was a great movie. I had to turn subtitles on because I couldn't quite understand one of the Kray brothers. Nonetheless, great movie to watch.

Lesser characters are caricatures - Eccleston as a dogged detective is particularly ill-used - and the film as a whole is all over the place, tonally and narratively. It's as if no one's sure whether it's a comedy, farce or tragedy.

Love Tom Hardy. Great acting in this movie. He plays both roles seamlessly.

The movie was average, I enjoy gangster films such as these however the thick accents of the main character and his brother make it hard to follow along at times.
