I happened to catch one episode of this series one night filpping through the channels and I was immediately taken in by it. If you are a fan of Fantasy (LOTR, Eragon, etc) then this show is for you. The story is excellent and the characters are very likable. For the price, it is also a good deal on DVD. Most seasons are around this price and you only get half the episodes.

I loved this show. Too bad it didn't last longer. The stories are based on a long-running series of fantasy novels by Terry Goodkind, a bestselling author. If you love the swords and magic that make up a good fantasy adventure, then this fits the bill.

Overall, the entire first season gets you to know all of the main characters back stories and the events during their quest. Anyone who is into shows like Merlin or the Lord of the Rings would enjoy this show. The acting is so-so in the beginning but it quickly improves as the season goes on. I really enjoyed this series!

This is a show about good versus evil with all the fantasy and action-adventure anyone can handle with great characters and a story that develops their relationships so the viewers care what happens to them.

I can't even begin to describe how much I love this show. It has a beautiful cast and wonderful scenery. The plots are amazing and I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters, including the baddies. I love the powerful female roles, great role models for women my age. It's just an around great show.

Love the show, can't wait for season two to come out on DVD in September. Need to give it more than 2 episodes to get hooked. To much storyline given in first 2 episodes and characters are finding their groove but if you can make it through the first 3 episodes you will be hooked.

I really enjoy the Legend of the Seeker series. I have seen all the episodes at least 3 times as I have made both my mom and girlfriend watch them. They both enjoyed it as well. I wish these would come in Blue Ray. Too bad they cancelled the series.

Enjoyed the pace of the plots and changing locations.This program was very well done. The old good vs evil theam.

I figure it this way I love the series, but I will wait for them to release it on BD. I'm not going to buy the DVD just to have them release the BD later. I would recommend it to those who just can't wait or don't have BD, because it is a good series.
