Absolutely love this device. I have a 16 inch Lenovo Legion that can be very heavy to tote on trips away from home - along with the headset and anything else needed for a 1-3 hour gaming session. Recently convinced myself to purchase the Windows version with Z1E as recommended by many handheld owners. Glad I did, as taking it with me on my recent vacation, I was able to play my games almost instantly without the need to set up. I look forward to my many adventures with this thing, also great for my coursework in school once connected to a display with my portable mouse and keyboard. Screen is a perfect size, a little weighty but not as heavy as my laptop, similar to the switch 2 screen which is really great as well. Fans can be a little loud, but not entirely a deal breaker as you get use to the sound and eventually ignore it. Wouldve held out for the LeGo2 but with the price and issues onndelivery, opted to go with the Go S open box which saved me money and less of a chance of defects due to the amount of time it had been released. Can see me using this for atleast 3 more years.

I wish that it had a OLED to help with the battery. Aside from that, this handheld is a beast. I had a ROG but had so many issues I decided to give the Legion a shot. Totally worth it.

Glad i bought this back in August! I got 10% with the best buy cc and 18 month 0% financing. It came to 809! This thing is amazing. I love the dual ports on top to charge and use my viture pro glasses simultaneously. After bumping up the vram it runs really well at 1200p. For example I'm playing first bezerk kazaan at around 60 fps in 1200 @ 120hz. Windows is clunky at times but worth it to play xbox games on this device. Geforce now is a nice option to play at higher performance settings while saving your battery. It makes a big difference, but requires a very strong wifi connection to stream without issues.

Good handheld. Ran the games I wanted it too with very little system changes needed. However, the one problem I did have was more of an annoyance. Windows constantly sends popups for updates that need my attention at all times. Having used both the Steam OS and this Windows OS versions I can say this unit is more user friendly even with the annoying system notifications. You will want to dig a little deeper in the settings to disable some of the background apps from running. Overall I say this is a good handheld unit to play the latest games. But it is overpriced at the moment when compared to the latest chip set handhelds released. Catch it on sale to make it a great unit.

A bigger step up from his brother this is a lot better at running some AAA games better for travel to downside there not stand with so it would be like having a way bigger switch but emulators seems work prefect

This thing is amazing, I love being able to sit or lie down on the couch and play my games while hanging out with the family or just watching TV together. The games run perfectly fine for me on this too, the latest game I played on it was Battlefield 6 and it ran without any lag or stutter. Anybody who likes comfy gaming should get one of these. Added plus side, the SSD is pretty easy to replace if you want something bigger and have a dual-boot setup with steam os.

Great windows gaming device. The only thing I'd say was lacking was the battery life and fan noise at anything past the balanced preset mode.

Love it! runs just about every game I throw at it. Screen is awesome even though it’s not OLED. Feels balanced when holding it.

This is my first experience with a handheld gaming device. The performance, while obviously not on par with my desktop, still leaves a good impression. I like it a lot. Windows is familiar, and therefore easy to use and navigate. It does everything I needed it to do and more.

Windows runs very smooth, just keep up to date with the updates and its a good game system. You have several consoles in one if you buy the Widows version.

Not a killer gaming console but if you need nice aesthetic and also good performance while you're on the go this is the one. Good hardware spec and able to deliver good performance for an okay games. Don't expect AAA to run perfect on this machine. But again if you need something solid handheld and a replacement for your steam deck, I would definitely recommend this

Bought this device for my son’s birthday.So far, this is everything that he wanted it to be in a PC gaming handheld. Unlike the steamOS version, which in my opinion had a better color option, but lacked the ability to play triple AAA titles like COD, Battlefield in GTA online. These titles were blocked from playing on steam OS due to anti-cheat software that is not compatible with steamOS natively. There was an option to update the system to Windows, but will cause just as much as the Windows device by purchasing window software and purchasing the product key. And not to mention the hundred dollar install fee that Best Buy charges to do it or if your tax savvy, you can do it yourself.

So far this has been a step up from the OG steam deck. Being able to enjoy more power and a bigger screen has been game changing.

this feels good in your hands. Good sound for a handheld and no problems playing all of my games. Still want play the new doom.

Had the origninal Legion go and love everything about it except the limited memory. When this option became available with an open box discount I had to grab it. Can't put it down.
