My son is really enjoying this game

I have 2 opinions on this game. My opinion and my son's opinion. He is enjoying the game and it was one of his favorite christmas presents. I think he will enjoy playing it for quite some time if we eventually start buying the add-on packs. This is where my parent opinion kicks in. This game appears to be the same scam as skylanders and the disney infinity game. They suck your kids in to wanting the game with great commercials and popular content then empty your wallet out buying endless add-ons and figurines that are necessary to unlock the full potential of the game. This of course is after you already paid like a hundred bucks for the starter kit which is almost twice the price of a normal overpriced new release video game. Its basically extortion and you can't blame anyone but yourself if you read this and still go ahead and buy it anyway. Don't get me wrong, your kids will probably love the game and it will make them happy to have it and be able to talk about it with their friends. It still feels like a scam to me though. Just my two cents worth. Take it or leave it, but you have been warned.

Grandsons' ages 6-14. Christmas present for them. They played for hours AND continue to play it. . They enjoy building all the things involved to reach the levels. I was impressed that they all found it fun- the youngest was able to play and the oldest felt the challenges fun as well

Really enjoyed putting the Lego sets together with my wife and co-op gaming the early levels. So far it's been reminiscent of other Lego games with the gameplay and signature Telltale humor. I look forward to playing the rest and seeing how the expansions packs play into the game.

The game is fun especially if you like interactive toy games not to mention if you like legos even a little bit. The game is not to hard or easy and everyone can have a good time. Note: keep an eye on the screen bottom corners and the game pad when things are getting difficult.

I've owned previous Lego games but this one is really fun to play with. At first I didn't really like the idea of swapping characters but once you start collecting them it gets addicting. The story is good and all the levels have a lot of things to solve and keep you hooked.

The base game and figures were fun, we had a bit of a glitch as it was stuck downloading updates for a while but it wasn't a big deal. You can add more figures and stories onto the game as you buy them so that's great. My son likes dimensions more than Disney infinity.

Love the game. Have played it everyday since Xmas. Characters can die in it though and there is a small waiting time before you can play with them again so make sure you have a few on hand. Older characters from 1.0 and 2.0 work just not their particular lands/games.

After our first run through completion of the game, I have come to the conclusion that it is worth the buy for the multi world system alone. Unfortunately, you have to spend quite a bit to get through unique passage ways meant for only a few characters you have to purchase or have not released yet, which is frustrating and can rack up fast to fat stack$.

Lego Dimensions surpasses Disney Infinity and Skylanders in gameplay. I love that you can rebuild the vehicles in multiple ways for a different experience. It's also great that you don't have to buy all the different packs to be able to complete the game.

Makes the kiddos build Legos and use their brains. Good game as well. Like the portals to move characters around the game. Make sure to have good spot to place the portal you build... Will need to move pieces & characters as you go thru the game

This game is fun, the more we play the more we like it. Sometimes it's confusing having to move the characters around on the base, which makes it inconvenient if you are sitting on the couch and the base is across the room. But still a fun game.

I bought this for my son, but I love playing with it, too. I love the creativity of the Lego world interspersed with the draw of video games. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone who is a fan of either camp.

It would s unfortunate to need to buy this again when he gets a new game system, going from an Xbox 360 to an Xbox 1, but he still enjoys playing these and plays the games with his little sister. Got a good price for it

I bought this for my daughter and I and we both think it is very cool. We are excited to open some of the level packs and explore a lot more too. It helps that we both like Lego, and play most of the Lego games, but this is even cooler.

Lego Dimensions is a good game to play with the family. My wife and kids really get into playing the game together making it a great multiplayer game. Sometimes they have trouble figuring out the nuances of the puzzles and it takes them longer than they would like but overall they are very happy with the game.

If you like the previous Lego games and enjoy at least half of the IPs in Lego Dimensions then you will love this. The comedy between the clash of all the different 'dimensions is gold.' This game has true replayability.

So much to do in this game, even without getting more sets, the newest updates adds the ability to unlock stuff using only coins collected in game. If you liked the previous Lego games, you will probably like this one.

We love the all the Lego games and have just about all of them. So when this came out we knew we had to get it for the kids and ourselves. I would have given 5 stars but many of the characters that they have to buy are movies. It would be fun to have more options that smaller kids can relate with.
