This set can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. It makes a wonderful playset with plenty of options for children to use their imagination. The set equally as impressive for adult collectors. The attention to detail is unbelievable. The included instruction manual alone has so many full color photos comparing the actual movie scenes with the Lego pieces corresponding to them. Also included are facts from the scene in the movie and information regarding Raiders in general. I've never seen a Lego manual so inclusive. Obviously, the set itself is one of the finest I've seen in any Lego Line. From the vibrant colors to the light at the end of the set....everything about it screams quality. You can tell whoever designed this is a true fan of the movie and took great care in recreating one of the greatest action scenes ever produced. Only downside is the inclusion of only four minifigures and lack of a plane included in the 2008 set. Everything else is so much better than that previous set. This has quickly become one of my top 3 favorite Lego sets ever. If you have any desire to own this...don't wait. After it retires...the value will skyrocket. Don't take my word for it. Look up the value of the Indiana Jones Lego sets from 2008. A new factory sealed one in good condition sells for $450+. Also, I've had great experiences ordering Lego from Best Buy. Not a single crushed box. And they use store pickup labels that are easily removed without damaging the boxes. A++. Highly recommend both the set and Best Buy

Seems Best Buy sent me an already opened, taped up box addressed to some guy in Illinois. I was under the impression since I paid full retail price that the item I would receive would be brand "new." The escape from the Lost Temple came just fine. Why the used product? Box was also damaged around the edges. Tape job was poor. I'll buy direct from LEGO next time.

The Lego box was opened on one side and the tape was lifted and not holding. The box was also damaged with a large crease along the front and damaged edges. This had clearly been opened and returned. This is unacceptable.

This is the 3rd box and it is all damaged, too! A sticker was on the box and had been ripped off. It’s ridiculous how these boxes are all damaged.

I really enjoyed putting this set together. Alot of fun techniques for the faces and plants, and I really love the play features in this set. They work very smoothly, and the one works fine without the rubber band if your worried about stressing that part. My one complaint is that the majority of the bricks in bag (1) have some dents in them, which affected the flushnes of the build in that area. I'll have to contact Lego about this.

Awesome set. Great features and details from the movie.

This set is nothing short of epic. If you're an Indy fan and want something nostalgic, this set will be perfect. I use it mostly for display but there are a couple of play features that are well implemented. I have a lot of the diorama series including star wars and jurassic park and this set goes well with the bunch.

Such a great build. It has a very detailed environment that is very iconic.

Beautiful display piece! Must have for Indy fans, literally the most definitive scene you think of when you think of the franchise. That's why I couldn't wait to get it! The build is satisfying, the mechanism for releasing the boulder is clever and addictive. The Dial of Destiny may not have lived up to the hype, but this set definitely does!

This set was picked-up in the wake of a multi-day Indiana Jones binge, so I may have been a bit primed for it--but that said, this set went way beyond my expectations. The build is engaging and fun, the finished set has a ton of cool features, and it makes a great display piece. Bit of a counter hog, but that adds to the fun.

Put simply, it’s a LEGO set based on Raiders of the Lost Ark. Between the quality of LEGO and the lasting appeal of Indiana Jones this is a worthy purchase. Lots of little extras (traps, motion, and lighting) make this a fantastic build.

Beautifully designed set for an adult collector to keep on display

Lego and Indiana jones who could ask for more. Was looking at older Indiana jones sets and they were way too expensive. This one has a great theme, the opening scene of the first movie, one of my favorites.

One of the best Lego sets. Got this one on sale but even at the full retail price, very worth the purchase. Really captures the moment from the movie. Loads of fun and a beautiful set.

Came with missing bag but still a solid set. Lego does a great job capturing the little details

An amazing set all around! Missed out on a lot of the sets when they were made for the release of the last move and I am glad there are some new ones now.
