Customers frequently mention the enjoyable gameplay and impressive graphics as major highlights of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Many also praise the diverse cast of characters and the game's ease of use, particularly for younger players. I love comics. I love video games. I wasn't really expecting much from this title, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. This game has dozens and dozens of Marvel superheroes to unlock. Even Squirrel Girl is here. LEGO Marvel Superheroes isn't exactly intellectually challenging, but it is mindless and unlimited fun with some challenging elements in the form of character centric puzzles. It may be because it's one of the first games I bought for the PS4, but as a longtime and old school gamer, it reminds me of the feeling I got when first playing Mario Bros. on the NES or Super Mario World on the SNES. There are tons of collectibles to discover and unlockables to earn in this game, which means a lot of replayability. My two-year-old daughter also loves watching and trying to play this game because she recognizes so many of the characters from stories I have read to her. Get this game. You won't be disappointed.

This game is an excellent new entry to the LEGO series games. Solid platforming and some mildly challenging puzzle solving-- this game is great for all ages. The characters are great, this game includes all the big names from the Marvel universe. Some characters can even fly (Iron Man, Thor), allowing you to explore the skies and city! My only complaint with this game is that you have to play through the levels first to unlock free play, so you can't unlock everything with one run through the level. But this was the case in previous LEGO games as well.

I newly bought a ps4 console and bought lego marvel super heroes as a game. my son so loved it! it was easy to follow for someone who is new and cant read very well yet. The graphics and user interface is excellent and even let him think about how to strategize. It has a lot of missions and surprises everywhere and always looking forward for super heroes to unlock. Highly recommended!

I love playing this game with friends and my wife!
It is a lot of fun. The game itself has tons of funny jokes, but just making your own story up in the free roam of New York City is also very fun! The only reason I can't give it a five is because of the 2 player camera. It splits the screen when your characters get too far away and sometimes it makes it hard to hit certain targets. Other than that, it's the most fun of any of the lego games I've played!

We purchased this game for our 6 year old son who already loved playing Lego Batman. In my opinion this game is better than Lego Batman and he absolutely loves the game. It has all the characters from marvel, which makes it more appealing to today's generation of kids. Well worth the money as I purchased on sale for $19.99!!

Game has a few buggy levels. I had to quit a level at least 2 times because I got stuck, but if you can get past the few times where the game makes you restart it is a fun way to play as your favorite super hero or comic book hero/villian. It has the most playable characters I've ever seen in the Lego series.

Bought this game for my son's 9th birthday. It's not a game I will gravitate to, but he seems to like it, although there are some spots where he struggles a bit. For kids I think it is a safe game without any real violence and no language. Plus we got it for less than $20, which makes this cheap entertainment for him.

if you like the lego games, this is no different. it is pretty large and has a lot of side games to play and explore around the city. great for kids, but maybe not if they're really young or just starting with video games. like most lego games, you don't really "die" or lose lives, and can continue to get hurt over and over and its basically no big deal, so thats good for kids, but sometimes solving were to go in a level is complicated, (and that's coming from a grown adult) my wife and i struggled a few times to figure out what we were supposed to do to move forward. but eventually you can figure it out.
overall, really fun game, especially for fans of the lego games. older kids will love it, or young kids if you play along with them

This game is super fun.You get to play a ton of different Marvel characters. It has good humor too. It's not that long of a game but there's a lot to unlock if you go back and play more.

We've gotten a lot of Lego games before. Some have their flaws sure, but overall they are the same style game. Marvels is the same way. Tons of characters, tons of hidden challenges and side missions. The open sandbox map is pretty big and full of studs (money) so a little extra time spent exploring also helps get the stud count up to buy extras and unlocks. The story is pretty solid. Nothing to write home about, but when are the Lego games ever? Only difference is this doesn't follow a movie story like star wars or Indiana Jones or Harry Potter so it's "new" and less predictable. Overall its a fun game and what you expect from the franchise. They updated features and tweaked the annoying/bad ones from the past.
One thing to note, if you're buying it for kids, the difficulty is somewhat up there. Sometimes the way through a level isn't always obvious but a voice over from agent Colson should help. But it's 2 player/split screen friendly so just grab a controller and help them out of it.

I purchased this game for my kids ages 4 & 7. It's a great game for their ages. Even though your character can "die" you don't lose any lives. Your character just gets right back up and continues to play where it left off.
One thing I don't like is sometimes you run around trying to figure out what to do, because there isn't any sort of manual that comes with it. My kids keep getting stuck in one part and can't continue because they don't know what to do. I've tried to help, and I too can't figure it out.
But regardless we love this game!

I've played a few Lego games in the past, and while they all have their qwerky humor, they were all rather too simple for my taste. While this game still has the same simplistic concept of destroying and rebuilding, the incorporation of the Marvel universe makes it a huge game changer! Not to mention, the game has a main hub world, aka open sandbox (like from Grand Theft Auto, Deus Ex, etc.) with tons of side tasks. You can fly around the city as Iron Man, web sling from building to building as Spiderman, or run around as the Hulk. There are a ton of characters to choose from, both heroes and villains alike. This game is also co-op, making it a blast to play with a friend. I normally don't recommend Lego games for the mere fact of how repetitive they are, but the changes they made with this game make it all the worth while! Overall, this game is a great game for relaxing and just having a fun time.

Lego games have always been great for Co-Op and this one is no exception. The marvel universe it lets you play in is huge. The hub world between levels is absolutely huge and has a large number of challenges to compete in for gold bricks which can be used to unlock extra parts of the game. The vehicles now can drive, boat, and fly around and each of the characters plays different with unique abilities. Great game.
