Bought this on deep sale price and for that it's fantastic. I'm not sure how long the guided tutorial/story elements go for but if you're looking for a licensed lego mine craft this is it. The collection element of each prebuilt item is a fun way to constantly get kids to explore new worlds but they can free build structures if they choose too.

This is such a fun game to play as a family. There are a few spots in the game where it can get confusing for the little ones. But we typically play as a family so we are able to work around those speed bumps without issue. If your child loves minecraft get this game, they will not be disappointed.

I have played it, but my 7 and 8 year olds have. They play it a lot and love it. It is easy enough for them to play, and they have never needed my help. I don't need to supervise them playing this game because there's nothing bad about it. We actually had to but Xbox One just for this game though!

Over all this is a very fun game to play. They give you the ability to clone builds.
Cons: Game has typical bugs that are common with Lego games and lags drastically from time to time. Especially when playing 2 player. Limited to the number of worlds on your account in the travel view.

I bought this game because in sandbox mode even 4 year olds can enjoy it and feel like they are playing mindcraft. The standard play is challenging enough for my Late teen son and friends. Overall it is a great game that allows for two people to play together without going online.

This is a great game for everyone to play. We bought it for our kids and they love being able to create their own Lego world and we love playing the game with them. There are so many ways and worlds to explore. It's lots of fun for the whole family.

My kids have all the Lego Console games and play Minecraft on all devices and this was a no brainer to get when the game came out. They picked it up right away and brings the best of Lego Games (dual local player mode) along with the open world of Minecraft.

A great game. I played along side my son while we searched the game for new ways to build new Lego worlds.
Here's the thing though, this game would be so much more fun if it had multiplayer. I understand the difficulties involved but, gaming is just better with your friends. My son was pretty bummed out because only 1 friend had the game to even play with him at all. Without that multiplayer element, he essentially was just playing by himself.
In the end, it's a game he comes back to often but just doesn't play a lot. Hopefully this will change as it truly is a great game!
