When I first bought laptop, it was a little slow, enough speed for emails, browsing, i tunes, etc, definitely not built for gaming. I uninstalled the preinstalled antivirus software which was causing the majority of the lag, and installed AVG. I went to a computer store and purchased an additional 4gb of ram for cheap, and this thing runs perfect. Definitely worth the money especially with the ram upgrade.

My wife needed a cheap laptop to get her embroidery designs on to her embroidery machine and we got this one on sale for $150. So far it has been great for her. It is good for her basic needs (internet browsing, embroidery downloading and Facebook). This is a really complete basic needs computer. Do not expect to do any hardcore gaming or video editing because this machine is not built for that, but it is great computer for the price if all you need is the simple everyday things.

Great quality and innovation from Lenovo to make a real laptop at an affordable price. The bottlenecks can all be upgraded except for the processor. Upgrading the memory to 8GB is an improvement to the Windows 10 execution. The onboard antivirus can be removed as well. The price of this laptop was less than most of the 2GB, 32MB, "no DVD" streamers available. The hard drive can also be upgraded to a faster drive. The laptop works fine without any upgrades for light games, internet, office applications, photo editing, streaming and playing a DVD. The sales person at the store told me "It is only good to use the internet and nothing else". Well, some are not old enough to have ever used previous computers such as the 386, 486 and do not realize how much power this laptop actually has. Purchased open box in perfect condition at an unbelievable price. It is much faster than my Sempron desktop. The hardware, keyboard and screen are all good Lenovo quality. It also has Bluetooth which some other more expensive laptops do not have.

Yes, it's my own fault. I read the reviews and still went ahead and bought it. It was cheap, I had a reward certificate about to expire, and I was about to throw my old pc out the window it was so slow. Well, I'm here to tell you to save your money and your sanity and buy something else. This thing is so slow it makes me insane. I don't do much but browse the web and go to certain sites like Facebook, Amazon, other shopping sites, etc. If the site has a lot of information or pictures or pop ups, it will take forever and ever to load, etc. It will just spin and spin and spin. The only thing good about it, so far, is it turns on and doesn't freeze up like my old one did. For now, I will make do, but I should've just spent more money and got a better processor. You've been warned!

I bought this because it was a steal for $179. And you get what you pay for. It is super slow. It took about an hour just to set up the thing. It only has 4gb hard drive, and they take up 2gb with preloaded apps. The weight is nice; very slim, not heavy or clunky. But not worth it, even for the price!! DO NOT BUY!!

I bought this laptop on sale for about $150 to copy files off my cell via USB to a SD card. Works fine for that task and has a fast built in SD card reader. However, CPU is very, very slow. The AMD E1 chip is so slow that an Intel Atom would be a huge upgrade for this laptop.

I bought this when it went on sale for $179... first one I took home and turn it on and the pixel on the screen went out so I took it back to exchange. The 2nd one was ok, it was a little slow.. 2nd day I turn it on it took almost 45 minutes to come on and it kept freezing.. I tried to "restore" it, yes on the 2nd day... and it took over an hour just to "initialize" then it just froze and stuck on the famous blue screen so I took it back and exchange it for a different one. I personally wouldn't buy it for $100 because it will not work.

I purchased this computer and it does everything I need and more it is well worth the price I paid.

I use it for the basic programs, email, Internet and some fun software (photoshop dream weaver) and love how smooth it runs. If you are a gamer no it's not for you but for basic computer necessities you can't go wrong!

I purchased this laptop as a quick backup as my other Lenovo had to go to the shop for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, this laptop is abismally slow. It barely can run Windows operating system. It hangs, and stutters on everything. I liked the size but when you can't even surf the web the computer is pretty much useless.

So far I haven't had any problems. I love it! it doesn't lag or anything. Defiantly made the right choice, after the 3 computer I have tried.

I bought this computer for my online schooling when my previous computer died. I had this for 5 weeks when it crashed. I took it in, they put a new hard drive in it. I had it for about around a month when it died again...another new hard drive!! I got this back yesterday and I hate this thing so much I want to throw it out a window. Unfortunately my budget does not allow me to purchase a new one at the time. Do not buy this computer. Also, the only thing I do on this computer, is school work, video conferencing 1x/month, download pictures (which all got destroyed), and facebook (not asking a lot here).

I returned this laptop promptly after I purchased it. The initial auto set up took well over 3 hours. Once the auto setup was finally done the laptop started a diagnostic error test. That diagnostic test froze the laptop so I had to do a force shut down. When the laptop booted back up the diagnostic error message came up again so I just cancelled out of it. Thinking this was a sign of things to come I packed it back up and returned it. When I returned it to best buy the employee asked me why I was returning it. I said because it's a piece of @$#%. She just smiled, said she understood and processed the return very quickly. I will definitely buy from Best Buy again, but will up my budget a little for a better computer.

IWorks for what I bought it for, travel web access in place of my bigger Dell laptop. One warning. You cannot upgrade the wireless except with high priced Lenovo parts. The BIOS has a whitelist of allowed parts. Generic Intel wireless ( for dual band) will prevent the laptop booting up. Won't buy another Lenovo if I can't replace parts.

My 10 year old infested laptop was faster. After set up with nothing running except the OS the computer ran at 99% CPU and Disk. I could not open any apps without them running slowly before crashing. You get what you pay for.

Bought this as a backup while my Touch Screen HP gets repaired. this computer is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW !!! Not worth it, even for the price. Internet speed is so aweful. I've had it 2 days and I hate it. I just may return it and pay the restock fee.

I bought this to run one program to finish my degree which only works on PCs, It was cheap and runs the program but is very slow. You get what you pay for.

This computer was SOOOOOO slow that I had to return it. I couldn't even load up Chrome. It was possibly the worst computer I have ever used. I don't know if it needed more memory, or if the issue was the AMD E1 processor...either way, this is a TERRIBLE machine. Don't waste your money.

This device is sloooow; from startup to browsing. I currently own a Dell Inspiron Desktop, a Toshiba Satellite series laptop and a Lenovo T60. This unit is slower than ALL of them. I decided to return this laptop to BB but was told that its past 7 days since I bought it (total of 20 days ) and so they could ONLY offer me another "in-store only item", and I'd have to pay the difference. Tough luck. I'm going to try to increase the RAM and see what happens. I regret purchasing this computer so much.
