    Great value gaming laptop

Great gaming laptop with FX 8800P Quad Core processor and Radeon M385X GPU. Most new games run at 900p at average - high settings and older games run at 1080p at very high. Display is also pretty nice. It is an IPS display. Claims to be freesync enabled (but i haven't tested that yet). This does have an extra M.2 SSd slot as well as a regular hard drive. I was able to add in an 80 mm m.2 ssd and this thing now flies. Pretty happy with my purchase. It cant match up with the Alienware's and Rog laptops but for the price/performance ratio, it is one of the better gaming laptops on the market.

the FX8800P + R9 4G graphic card are awesome for games. I can run The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Pillars of Eternity, Verdun etc latest PC games without any lags or problem at all. I had upgrade my 8GB memory to 16GB, makes the computer runs very smoothy. the fun works awesome while hard core games are on. love the price, i got it on blackfriday deal with extra discounts. the price can't beat. okay, i am done..i am going back to play more games now.

    Great laptop for the money!

I have been looking for a powerful laptop lately and it has definitely been a challenge as I was looking to spend around 1500 or more for something of comparable value. This here is definitely a bargain since the build quality is fantastic and the keyboard keys are easy to get used to. It is light for it size and the screen resolution is superb. It is such a shame to see how hard it was to find an AMD process with the 6th gen FX series. This is the top of the line series for AMD and it also has the R9 385M Radeon Series GPU as well with 4gb of dedicated memory. It runs my games on full high setting on steam with no frame rates being dropped at all. Intel processors are great but they command a premium. I definitely recommend the purchase if you're looking for a great gaming laptop that can do so much more! Also the laptop does come with an external DVD-RW drive as that is external. It is not heavy at all and the JBL sound speakers blows any other laptop within the same price range out of the water.

    Not up to Toshiba's reputation

I bought this laptop twice, and returned it both times. First, it rebooted itself for no apparent reason and the screen was dark at the top and very washed out at the bottom. The second laptop was unimaginably slow and the mouse kept disappearing. The keyboard felt cheep too. This is supposed to be an entry level gaming laptop, but is not up to the standard that I expect of Toshiba.

Initially seemed fine, but then would give an error message that windows 10 had not been activated. When trying to activate it, it would give a new error message that the product key would not work. Eventually took it in to get it fixed where they discovered even more problems and recommended I return it for the refund. So I did.

    An excellent laptop!

Whether you need a laptop that is excellent at video/photo editing or a gaming rig, this laptop will suit your needs. Everything is very snappy, and the JBL speakers on this are also very impressive sounding--just needs a bit more bass, in my opinion. The screen is also non-reflective and looks very crisp. In terms of gaming, I don't do a ton, but enough to be able to appreciate the fluidity of FPS that a nice computer can give over a console. I have been able to run all of the FPS/turn based games that I have in my collection on high or ultra settings just fine! In my opinion, this laptop is an excellent value. I have had both AMD and Intel chips, and they are hard to distinguish in terms of quality or performance. Save yourself a few hundred dollars at least and go with this one!

This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the earphone port on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. lenovo

I been using it play hours of hours gaming without turning off the laptop, it is no lag no heating issue. Love it so much. Lenovo finally produce a real game laptop that I love. Good specs, but not good quality

This laptop is looking good on specs. Yet, it may suffer from lenovo's poor quality control. I bought this laptop for only two days and the back-lit keyboard was defect, dimmed in the center area. Beware of the fast heat-up if you are planning to do any gaming on this machine. The cpu/gpu heat up pretty quickly and remain fairly high temperature until completely stop the gaming session. The fan noise is OK to fair and you definitely will hear it. Some may find it annoying and unfortunately I am one of these users.

Pros: good screen size/picture, sleek keyboard, nice texture, external DVD drive, sound quality is very nice for a laptop. Cons: red light backlit (3 setting - off, light, bright), the mouse would register me as asking it to zoom which was extremely annoying however most likely user error, I just turned off the zooming option. General information/use: I play Sims 4 (no issues, regular settings), some occasional 3D print builds again no issues, and basic things (Facebook, web search, etc). Windows 10 is simple to play with/edit your settings. Both cons are easily removed.

A great APU with a great iGPU and a good enough dGPU to get the job done are included. Full HD screen with virtual super resolution (3200x1800) can also be enabled. Only downside are drivers and software, which are absolutely HORRIBLE. Couldn't get the R9 385X to work in any of the games I played and spent countless hours trouble shooting. Otherwise, this would be a screaming laptop well worth the $570 paid.

I've had this laptop for almost two months now and I do want to say that it is a great computer, but there are issues that need to be address (I'm looking at you, Microsoft). I've been using it for music, YouTube, Netflix, and Microsoft office. The programs open quickly, perform well, and run smoothly. Pros- -The sound is fantastic, better than some of the laptops that I've had before. The JBL speakers provide a great depth to music, movies, and games. - Light-up keyboard is trendy and I love the red light-up. There are two different brightness options and the keys are not very loud when typed. -Screen brightness is great, very clear, and can be adjusted accordingly to user preference -very quick to start-up (however I increased ramm size to 16gb) -Overall design is sleek and light in weight, however it is a fingerprint magnet . (just use a microfiber cloth and buff) -Some steam games (don't have a lot of them) play well, but again test the game for graphic card issues. ------------------------------ Cons- -It seems that Windows 10 and AMD have a lot of compatibility issues. I have read that the R7/R9 graphics cards have lots of issues. -Playing league of legends on this computer produces program freezes, sudden restarts, and even [Thread in driver] issues (graphic card driver issues). The fans also blow hard when the client freezes. -Some other games will play, but just be aware that not all games will play well -AMD catalyst driver seems to be more stable than the current crimson versions, do not upgrade unless you know which games will not cause the laptop itself to crash. -I had to completely reinstall the entire computer again to make it work from all the driver issues that AMD with Windows 10. -Fan tends to run often and blow hot air. Sometimes it blows hard, when not even using too many resources (though Chrome does use a lot) -------------------------------- If you are looking for a laptop, this is quite good for first time owners looking for a multimedia laptop for entertainment and/or for school. I would be wary of game playing here until Windows 10 steps up with their compatibility game and fix all the issues it has with AMD video cards
