Ideal Laptop for school work or someone who needs a computer to surf the web and perform simple computing. Not for gamers. It's straight forward, simple and does what you need. If you want speed and performance, look elsewhere.

I bought this laptop for my son, he used it to do school homeworks, it is light and easy to use, the laptop is cheaper than all others but works very well.

Needed a new laptop for school and found a great deal on this one. It was a little frustrating at first because it was freezing up and sticking for it to be brand new but I've gotten use to it and it's OK just for school work.

I wanted to get this laptop for a friend and I was surprise how cheap this laptop was that performs fairly well. If you want something that does the basic stuff like word documents and surf the internet this laptop is the one.

Wish I can switch computers! It freezes up sometimes the dvd slot won't up. Slow power up. Running as if there is a virus on it.

Battery was bad, store wouldn't just swap it with another in stock computer and made me send it back to the manufacturer. I was within tge 30 day return period while being an elite member but that didn't seem to matter.

My kid got his first laptop due to school requirement, so far so good. No issues at all, only 3 stars becuse its was a little messy the account set up, you need to create a microsoft account then load your info after that its almost impossible to change the data you loaded in the system, meaning if you want to have another startup name, you need to go to settings and so on, for a non IT guy like me, this did not work at all but Again for my kid using microsoft office and internet its a good laptop.

This laptop works just as good as the higher priced. I have already recommended this computer to my sister in law. She purchased one and loves it too.

I purchased this as a gift and it displayed the blue screen of death after one week. Returned it to the Geek Squad and THEY couldn't even fix it. It had to be replaced.

I bought this laptop to pay bills and do general internet surfing. The computer has performed well. The ease of network connections was ice. I hooked the laptop to my home network (printer and tv) within minutes.

Easy to use laptop right out of the box. High school projects can be done using google apps. No need to buy Microsoft office. Great buy so far.

Everything was great until I went to the store to pick it up, the cashier asked for credit card used for the purchase, I don't know why; I provided my id to prove my identity. But the cashier insisted in the credit card being presented. I was going to cancel the order. I was always a loyal Best Buy customer but not anymore I would buy from Best Buy only if there is a good deal on something I want, it will not be my first destination any more. If the mail man can leave it at my door step, my ID should have been enough to insure it's not a fraud.

I bought two of these computers and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I have two young men in school and they can do their homework without having to share.

I read the reviews and liked what I read and needed a reasonably priced laptop so I got this one. So far it is doing just what it should do.

i use this laptop to write screenplays and for surfing the 'net, and it does both thinks exceptionally well. It's got a quick boot up for a windows-based laptop, and navigating the internet is quick and easy.

Mostly everything is fine with this laptop. The only things I'm having issues with is that I can't seem to figure out how to turn websites into desktop shortcuts and that the battery life isn't the greatest.
