I got this laptop for school and it is great for basic things like searching the web and doing homework. I love the keyboard layout and ease of connectivity. I didn't like that every time I turned it on or shut it down it was updating and it ran slow sometimes. Overall 4 stars only because of those two issues.

The price was good regarding $250.00 50% off $125.00 sounds great, but the feel of hard plastic seems cheap, but it's a real laptop with a dvd-rw 500G 4G ram win 10, it's still a great deal.

This laptop is everything that I needed it for which was to type up reports and other microsoft office tools. The only criticism would be in the speakers on the laptop. They're an okay quality but not the best. Overall I think it was a great purchase for the price and it does what I need it to do.

We've had the laptop for about two months and it's great so far. The only thing that annoys me is the shift key is not in the same spot on the keyboard as it is on most, so that's definitely taking some getting used to. I also feel the battery dies somewhat quickly, so keep the charger close by!

This computer works find for checking email and doing some word processing. But, has massive speed and wireless deficiencies. Fails often and I have to wipe it out and start over every few months just to keep it functional.

It is a great laptop for use at home, web browsing, email and works with MSoft Office. As a Lenovo, it has a great keyboard. It's lightweight,. Works great with Windows 10. This is the 2nd Lenovo I got.

Its a nice fast computer for doing basic programs and studying. Its a good product and great price for the basic user.

I purchased this laptop after only having desktop computers previously, I have always had issues with laptop keyboards...they are so flat! But this one was very easy to get used to and I don't regret the purchase. My only complaint is that the page up key is located where the right shift key should be and this really took some getting used to. I blame myself for not being more careful in checking out the keyboard prior to purchase. But who would have thought they would change very basic key placement? I am used to it now for the most part and aside from that little glitch I am overall happy with my purchase,

There are faster laptops with faster processors, but for what we needed this laptop for, this was perfect. Honestly, I haven't had any problems with speed, but I haven't really taxed this machine yet, either. All in all, this is a good laptop, and the price was right.

This is an affordable choice for an entry level laptop. Wish it had lighted keyboard (always knew it did not). Good value for the money. Shift key on right side a little out of the way, but overall a good buy.

We use it for basic internet access, online courses, some browser-based games, and Minecraft. It handles all these tasks well. The battery life is ok. My only complaint is the position of the shift key, as has been noted by some other reviewers. But it's mainly my kids' laptop, and they seem pretty happy with it. I have not tried to use more processor-intensive software on it.

This is the first time I purchased a Lenovo and I'm incredibly disappointed. This is the worst computer I've ever had. It is slow. It freezes often. It doesn't even have enough power to charge my phone through the USB port. They keyboard is off so it's incredibly difficult to type (the shift button is in the wrong position). You cannot use it for more than a couple of hours before it overheats. There are icons and information cluttered on the computer about Microsoft Office but it's not actually installed on the computer (it's like having commercials installed on my computer). WORST OF ALL: None of the audio/video settings stay. I fix one setting and attempt a program (such as Skype) and it doesn't work. I go back to the settings to see that it has reset. I actually kept the setting box open while I was trying to perform a Skype call and WATCHED the settings change on their own. Nothing I did worked. I cannot perform any sort of meaningful work on this computer since it doesn't type well and I can't have any online meetings.

I wasn't looking for a high and laptop so based on reviews I purchased this one. It arrived right on time and worked good out of the box. Not the fastest computer but like I said I wasn't looking for any top of the line machine. It's a good deal for the price.

I have really enjoyed the Lenovo for the research of my dissertation and personal use. It's light and fast.

This computer was on sale for $219.99 and that is a really good deal. Lenovo makes good electronics. I'm happy with the two tablets(8 inch and 10 inch) that I already own. I needed to replace another computer. More than adequate for emailing and web surfing.

I bought this as an open box sale in store. It was a last minute purchase but a much needed one because my old laptop crashed. I just use it for email, social media and online shopping mostly so it works for me. It's nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

The department manager was real helpful in answering all my questions and while another computer that I wanted to buy wasn't available she was able to find one that was open box that was almost the same have a good price. This is worked out very well for me

So I purchased this laptop for a reasonable price, but after 2 or 3 days I noticed WHY the product had this price. it is so unbelievable slow, crashes every 5 minutes, just bad product. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it. Going forward, I start calling to return the item, 3 times, and first 2 times I received a positive answer "Yes we will send you the return label, check your e-mail in the next 24 hours" and I never received anything, no e-mail with any label, any answer, nothing; 3rd time I called (after like 2 weeks) to find out that I wasn't in the 15 days period that the return best buy policy is, my first call was 2 days out the 15 days...Basically they didn't wanna take my useless laptop back. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. No wonder everybody is using Amazon and everything is flawless there. I won't use best-buy in future starting today. So After a 51 minute conversation with a supervisor regarding all this, I finally got a positive answer regarding my concerns. I thank her for that. WOW, why it had to be so difficult I don't understand, but like I said, Amazon from now on...

I bought this laptop to store all my phones photos and videos. I tried surfing the web but the only thing is that the battery drains quick. But just for storage is pretty good
