this laptop was purchased to replace a nook for my wife. although she still uses the nook, this laptop is my wife's preference. She had a little problem with the built in mouse but over time has mastered that little problem.

I bought 2 of these laptops, one for each of my middle schoolers. It was a great deal for the amount of memory and the processor it came with. It's easy to use. It has a large screen with a crisp, clear picture.

I HAD BOUGHT THIS COMPUTER BECAUSE IT HAD GOOD RATES BUT IT KEPT FREEZING AND HAD TROUBLE DOING OTHER THINGS SO WASN'T HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT

This is a good entry level laptop has sufficient processing power for everyday general/office use. Not recommended for gamers or heavy application usage. A tad higher than a netbook in efficiency.

It has windows 10. Enough said. Absolute garbage. After the many hours it takes to figure out how to turn off all the enabled cloud and internet based stuff it wants to do online, it's tolerable to use for simple high school needs.

This was a replacement for an older laptop. It has been a significant upgrade in both speed and ease of use. This is the second Lenovo we have purchased in our family and we are very happy with the brand.

I had purchased an HP expensive laptop that was touch screen but the speed upon boot and opening windows was nothing compared to this Lenovo. It's amazing how this laptop does the job and does it fast.

I purchased this for my father as a replacement laptop. I don't know if this is a lenovo issue but I had several problems. The first being with chrome. I can download and use Firefox just fine. But I had constant problems with chrome. The second issue being with the wifi. It kept dropping off for some reason. The third issue is with the loading of windows. I timed it on loading from a cold start. You are stuck on the initial windows screen even before you get to the login at least 10-15. It just sits there. So I figured I got a lemon, and exchanged it for the same model. After going through the whole "new purchase so need to register, install stuff, and situate things", the same problem returned the next day. I was happy to get rid of it.

I am extremely disappointed, I usually do not write bad reviews but I'm so upset I had to. I ordered this item for my daughter for Christmas, she was so excited since she's been wanting a newer laptop. So, I thought well this seems like a great deal, she's only 9 yrs old so I didn't want to spend too much. But oh my goodness, should have spent the extra $100 or so because this laptop is defective. She woke up Christmas morning super excited when she opened her new laptop. Well, we went through the process of setting it up, without any issues. All was well until, he wanted to play her new cd on the laptop and the disk drive would not open but made this horrible, loud, rumbling, high pitch noise. Each time we tried to open it, it continued to do this, until finally it opened and we places the cd in it. Well, it made the same noise and ejected it and continued making this awful noise. Tried once more and sigh same thing, awful noise, ejected, more awful noise. My daughter was so upset and so was I. I blame myself for not inspecting and making sure it was working properly when I ordered it over a month ago. Now, I have to take it back, or see if they will. I'm not sure how that works since I've had it over a month, but just never opened it. I am glad to say she quickly regrouped, she was actually more upset and me spending my money to get it (funny right) I wasn't even concerned about that. But, she was happy that she already has her Samsung Galaxy S5 she got a few months ago. But, I'm highly upset.

The touch-screen is a feature that is usually not available at this price-point. Startup performance is acceptable. This machine is used mostly for working in Web-based applications on household WiFi.

Good price for a laptop, but the keyboard design is not weird near the right shift key. Ideal laptop to finally learn windows 10.

My sister needed a simple computer for high school. This works perfectly for her needs and she is even able to download sims Which normally slows it down . No problems yet and it has been 5 months

This is a great laptop for use in the household. My daughter uses is some for school but it is great for organizing a busy schedule and keep those important papers and information together.

Please read reviews before purchase. Computer is very slow. Right shift key location sucks. Freezes a lot. Wish I had bought a better model. You get what you paid for.

Purchased for my 91 year old mother-in-law so she could play simple games and check the newspaper from her home town. Once she got used to Win 10 she was able to use it without problems.

I returned both laptops because they were too heavy for my 7 and 8 year old grandchildren to lug around. I replaced them with the Lenovo 100S 11.6" laptops. They are Christmas presents.

laptop was purchased to covert a work from home job. Going from desktop to laptop, needed one with good specs to handle workload. Needless to say it hasn't missed a beat. Great product

The initial set up on this unit was fast and very easy. The storage space is going to really be handy in so many ways when it comes to retaining photos, music, and other information.

It's a great laptop for what it is!! Works well. If you use a higher top end laptop, it probably won't impress you, but for on the go for me, this works great!! Not a gaming laptop.
