This is a superb product for me. Others? I don't know. Don't even care. The point is, I see a computer kinda like a hammer. It's a tool. Nothing more. Nothing less. This particular Lenovo was recommended by the sales person as appropriate to my needs. And relatively inexpensive. So far I am just overjoyed with its performance, versatility and storage capacity. It's a damned good hammer!

It's a simple laptop. I bought it for a friend that never had a laptop before. It is able to play video game such as league of legend. Just not at the highest quality

This computer was purchased for my teenage son to help with his homework. It was very reasonably priced and has ample space.

This laptop computer is right for the money. It has the necessary hardware and software for my needs. I saw no need to spend $100s more for the touchscreen.

I bought the laptop for my daughter as her very first laptop (she's 17 y/o) as a Christmas gift. It does everything she needs it to do with no problems. I've had an Lenovo for 3 years and never had a problem with it. A good laptop for the price.

for my first lenovo laptop i bought, it served me well. I run league of legends. I have installed multiple apps which are graphics heavy and it runs fine... Cortana is an issue to me. I like the feature but I rarely use it. It is like the Alexa of Amazon and I just don't feel the need to use it as much. It may run slower depending on the how many heavy graphics/RAM-use programs you have but for most purposes, it was a good buy in 2016. I currently own a lenovo yoga and hp omen and I think these two now are way way better. Technology updates too fast sometimes that it is almost better to get the year end/clearance sales from bestbuy or during black fridays. Durability: Decent --my cat sat on it multiple times because I guess it is a great butt warmer. =}

This is a good basic laptop at a good price. It is pretty fast and has a decent screen. The only thing I don't like very much is the touchpad, which can be a little quirky at times.

I got this laptop. It is pretty fast with an i3 processor. Everything was great. The only issue is the screen is too dark. With the highest level of brightness it is still dark.

This computer does exactly what I want. Great for surfing the web, doing emails etc. the picture is great for watching sports in my opinion. My only issue is the short battery life. Needs charged frequently. Great buy for the price.

This laptop works wonderful. It's pretty fast. Only problem is it freezes up for a few seconds every once in a while. But always solves itself. Hard to beat this for the price.

I did some research before purchasing this exact model (G50-80 i3, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 10 pre installed). Most of the reviews that I came across were positive. I think that the strong points of the G50-80 are the display, the light weight, the performance of the i3, the ease of upgrading the system memory (all the way up to 16GB DDR3L), and the ability to swap the mechanical HDD for a speedy SSD. I also really like the track pad. It's very responsive and accurate and the physical left and right click buttons aren't loud. The battery life is pretty short but you can buy a spare and keep it with you. Not many people are using a laptop this big to carry around with them these days. The keyboard is mushy and has a lot of flex to it. The speakers are ok. Nothing special really. The optical drive is very quiet. The USB ports felt cheap and not easy to plug in my peripherals without feeling that they were going to come loose. One port did tell me that my device was disconnected when it wasn't. The computer is fast and it boots quickly. Overall, it's good for the money. Don't expect it to rival midrange laptops. This is a budget machine with everything you need for email, web searches, and putting together documents. It's perfect for students.

I got this computer for under $300 and have been extremely happy with it. It is not a top of the line computer and I wasn't going in with high expectations but have been pleasantly surprised with it. Windows 10 is easy to use and it was already pre-installed. It is fairly fast, although I am making a comparison to my older computer. For the price, I can't complain about anything. I would recommend this computer to anybody in my family.

I went several other places before going to Best Buy looking for a laptop. When I got there, I told the sales woman that I'm going to school online and couldn't afforded anything over $350. She recommended this laptop. I got it and was going to try it out, and I LOVE IT!!! It's perfect for everything that I need, everyday life and my online school.

l bought the laptop for my 11th grade daughter as a Christmas gift. It does everything she needs it to do. It is light, easy to maneuver, good screen. The only complain so far is the battery that seems not to last that long.

My husband wanted a backup to his more expensive laptop just in case something happened as he does all household finances on his laptop. He researched this Lenovo. He has been pleasantly surprised at its capabilities and speed. The hard drive holds all of his software and mine. The display is beautiful. Now we both have access to this new laptop in case one of our other laptops fails. We are both very pleased with our purchase.

Okay, so if you are planning on gaming, running several programs at once or anything along these lines it's not the computer for you. But, if you write college papers, do a bit of youtube, watch some movies? Its perfect

Lots of space for my needs. However had an issue during setup when scan was in process and didn't complete for some reason. I use it minimally, for pix and iPhone backup & iTunes. No other issue encountered thus far...

We purchased a different laptop and had to return it. This laptop was a great upgrade. Processor meets my personal needs;email, web searching, video, windows office needs. Glad we returned it. Quality is better too.
