Posted .With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP. With regard to the speaker volume, you might try going in to Properties for sounds/speaker. For Playback, find the Enhancement Tab. Find Equalizer. Change setting to Powerful.

When the sales person took me to get checked out and the PC was paid, I expected the Squad to assist in getting everything set up in the PC. They did not help to set it up! I am still NOT using it 2 weeks after purchase!

Posted .You will need to make an appointment with the Geek Squad for set up. They can do it for you at the store or in your home. Check with your local store for details and to set up an appointment.

THE WORST!!!

It is soo slow to log on or navigate the internet. It freezes up constantly. And now, after just over a year of ownership, I have the black screen of death. I have barely used it. I won't ever buy another Lenovo product except to give to my enemies!

Bad hard drive

A faulty hard drive straight out of the box. After talking it over with geek squad tech (and realizing this is common in this brand of computer) I exchanged it for a different brand. I will not be getting Lenovo again.

Posted .This system has the Windows 10 operating system installed, a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 and a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection. This system should be a fast system with its Core I-3 processor and 6GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

Problems in the first month

I had to send the computer back to the company and am waiting for its return. I have been without the use of a computer for two weeks and counting.

Posted .Your device is still under manufacturer's warranty. If you feel the device is running hotter than it did previously (before the problem started today), we recommend you bring the device in to your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad check the heat issue ASAP.

Do not buy

Out of the box it ran slower than my broken one I was replacing. I tried to install updates and it froze, just stopped. Where I tried to restart it nothing.I returned it three days later and will never by Lenovo again.
