Surprised it's not faster

Even though it only had a Core i3 processor, with the 6GB of RAM I thought it would be faster. It works just fine, I bought it specifically for general web surfing and light software use. Sometimes it just seems slow considering the advertised software that it has in it. That being said if you can find it on sale for 270, I'd say buy it. I doubt you'll find a better computer for the same price.

Posted .This system should have good speed with its Core I-3 processor and 6GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Excellent laptop

Works better than the old server worked when new and takes up less desk space. Very reasonably priced! I had never used Windows 10 before this system, but setup was fairly easy. I own 2 other Lenovo laptops, one purchased in 2007-still running fast and efficient. Best part is how quiet they are!

Gets the job done

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for my dad to use after the Toshiba he had for 6 years crapped out finally. He mainly uses the computer for basic tasks such as browsing the net, reading news, and youtube music. It's held up over the past few years okay enough. He doesn't really take care of his electronics as well, and with the neglect/abuse of this device, it's held up pretty well. If you need something to get the job done and don't care about weight, ascetics, or hardware this is the device for the price.
