Good for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard is way too noisy, and the right "Shift" key is in the wrong spot, different from any keyboard I have ever used. Takes some getting used to, but performance, ease of setup, quick power on/off are all nice for the pricepoint. Overall, a good lower end laptop for the money.

very good laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my wife, despite a small hiccup with having to upgrade to windows 10 (I figured it would've been running the OS right out of the box), the wife is very happy with laptop. It's very fast and responsive with a lot of storage, perfect for a grad student.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop for your wife. This system does come with Windows 10 pre-installed, but occasionally there will be an update of the operating system that is published after the computer leaves the factory. What you experienced was that updating process.

rocky start but okay in the end
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.during the first couple of weeks, my lenovo laptop worked fine, but the disk was almost always pinned at "100%" usage whenever i brought up the task manager. i found this worrisome... even though the laptop itself worked fine and was speedy. most of the advice i found said the hard drive was probably damaged and would die. So Best Buy gave me a new one and that has worked fine. i bought this laptop on sale for $260. if it was at full price (approx $350) i would not have bought it, but that's just me. a laptop with a i3 processor and 6 GB RAM for $260 was a bargain. the most notable downside for this laptop are the speakers, but keep in mind it's an inexpensive laptop. otherwise the build is pretty decent. lenovo also has 24 hour technical help, which is handy. and based on my experience, i'd give their technical help a "fair" rating. i'd recommend buying this laptop, but wait for a sale.

Good value laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good value laptop for kids or someone just using it for word processing and browsing the internet. Speaker isn't very loud (only has one) and the right sided shift key is in a weird place, but for the price (sub $300) it's a very good value.

Great computer, weird keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did my research for laptops. This one felt good in my hands, weight-wise, had a great screen size and a decent memory for its use. My only complaint was the setup of the keyboard. It's awkward and quite an adjustment to get used to.

Fairly priced for the value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just needed a laptop to do basic things like manage photos and update my website and this laptop has done well so far. With Windows 10 installed it automatically defaults to the Edge browser, it’s HORRIBLE! Bypass the option to make it your preferred web browser. Other than that it’s performed as well as expected for the price.

Good lower priced computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer does everything I need. It's lightweight and while most laptops of this size do not have CD slot, this one does. The only problem is that the shift key on the right seems to be placed a bit differently than other keyboards. It took time to get used to but even so, for the price this is a great computer.

Good Laptop for the $
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the laptop for my wife who needs it for school. Laptop is fast and has a good display. The only problem with the machine is the right shift key, which is too small. I performed a work around by reassigning arrow up key to perform the shift function. All is now well.

Meets basic need for a laptop but not the best.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love having a number pad available which is why I purchased 15" laptop and the price was right. Lenovo has issues with not being able to lock their touch pads. I hate them and use a remote mouse. Another annoyance is the placement of the right shift key. It is located to the far side of the "up" arrow and I just can't seem to get used to it. It may have other quirks that I just haven't had time to find yet. Overall, for a laptop priced under $300 I can't complain that much. I would recommend with reservations.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. If you mean turning off the touchpad when you say "lock" the touchpad, use the hotkey over F6 to turn off the touchpad. It's a laptop. Not much power.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.8 months in and I have to say I'm not very satisfied with this laptop. I've had good luck with previous Lenovo products, but the past two I've bought have been disappointing. I've had to re-teach myself to type since, for some completely unexplainable reason, the right Shift key is farther right than it normally is, so I frequently hit the UP arrow (the keyboard for the Lenovo desktop I bought has the left CTRL and FN keys switched, which is simply horrible and unforgivable). This laptop is inexplicably slow at times. It works, and I did not expect gaming hardware speed, it just doesn't work as well as I hoped.

With one exception, this LENOVO's a good product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though I'm forced to use Windows 10, which I HATE, the fault is not with the computer. It's fast, good manageable size for my needs, and has a nice memory/capacity. Many friends have recommended the brand. However, on this ideapad110, the right "shift" key is IMPOSSIBLE for my little finger to reach in normal typing; I have to stop my process, look down at the keyboard and search it out - instead of being able to capitalize in normal workflow. Otherwise . . . could you bring back Windows 7 or even 8.1??

Good laptop for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price of this laptop is definitely a reason that I looked into it. I compared it to many other computers and the specs on this actually came out the best & it was the lowest price. I read the reviews and none of them really scared me away. Overall I am very happy with it. My complaints are that the battery doesn't last very long & that the touch pad keys you have to click on are very stiff, but I am sure with time they will loosen up. I would definitely recommend this product.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. With regard to the battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. Additionally, with regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Awesome Laptop for basic use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for basic use at home, however have ended up using it for my business (very light/basic use) as well. It was a great price and functions perfectly for what I use it for. It is light weight has a large screen. The keyboard looked a bit smaller than standard, however I have not experienced any trouble with use. I LOVE the number pad (again just for basic accounting use) it is also a bit smaller but haven't noticed any difficulties getting used to this.

Great Laptop for the money.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted something inexpensive to replace those 2gb ram, 32gb hard drive laptops. Windows 10 and windows office does not work with 32gb. It stopped being able to update. Those are great if you are doing social media and online only things. I needed the extra memory to run windows. This computer does not come with windows office, but it runs it okay. This laptop has 6gb ram and 1Tb of memory, which is great for office work. If you like basic games, this works fine.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd Lenovo laptop. Very pleased with both. This model seems to have the right side shift key one position to the right of where it should be which for me is a problem when typing.

Great Budget Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this during as a Deal of the Day for about $250, and I have not regretted buying this laptop. I've currently had it for about two months, and I mainly use it for my college courses. It's fast enough to let me work on essays, excel spreadsheets, browsing the web, watching videos, and listening to music. It's obviously not meant for gaming so don't expect anything too crazy, but I really do like this laptop overall. I should say that I'm the type of person who has more than 15 tabs open on Chrome when working on homework while listening to music and switching between Chrome, Word, and Excel constantly, and this laptop has been able to handle that for the most part. There have been times where it has stayed "frozen" for a bit when switching or closing video tabs, but that has been the only main issue I have experienced. The speaker honestly sucks given where it's placed. I hate that they decided to put it almost directly under the trackpad as there have been times when I push down on the lower part of the base when I'm typing, which leads to muffled or blocked sound. The volume is also very low even when set at max. I just use headphones if I'm going to be watching a YouTube video or watching something on Netflix. Another hardware placement issue I have is the SD card slot being near the speaker. If I have the laptop on my lap, I'm scared I might disconnect the SD card when it's connected. I would have preferred having it on the side instead along with an extra USB port on the side where the disc drive is since there is enough space for more ports on that side. The keyboard itself feels great. They keys don't get stuck, and I generally like how it feels when I'm typing. I'm not a fan of the placement of the up arrow and right shift key as I can accidentally press on the arrow key instead. The trackpad is also good. It gets the job done, basically. I also like how Lenovo decided to add texture for the base of the laptop, which makes feel and look nicer. So far, it hasn't crashed or broken down on me, which I'm grateful for as a college student. It can be difficult to find a cheap enough laptop that is fast enough for what I need it for, and one that has the necessary space to last me a while. Another issue that I should address is that it seems to drop the WiFi signal maybe two times a week, which can be an annoyance, but all you need to do is disconnect and then reconnect to your internet. This might just be an issue with my router, but I'll still leave this here in case it happens to anyone else.

Verry good value, good screen.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The I3 CPU helps distinguish this laptop from it's competitors. The screen is brighter and sharper then competing laptops. The 1tb of hard drive storage means you won't run out of space. The laptop worked with hbogo flawlessly. I wish it had more USB ports but an cheap hub took care of that. Average battery life of about 3 1/2 hours in normal use.Read the documentation of mouse scrolling it's intense.
