Nice laptop for casual use

I was used to a better laptop that had an i5 processor with 8GB RAM. The laptop felt a big laggy with even opening websites. I replaced 2GB RAM with 4GB and with 8GB, the performance improved dramatically. Overall, it's a good laptop for casual use at home if you do not plan to do anything heavy duty such as heavy gaming or multiple apps.

The first, the 17 inch model for my sister for her revitt in architecture school. The second, for my courses, both are perfect and have everything needed. Such a great value!

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

My only complaints are that the shift key and power buttons are out of place from other laptops. This isn't a real issue just an inconvenience that you have to get used to. Overall I LOVE my new laptop!

Best Buy was easy to work with for exchanging for a replacement. I did think about changing brands. But the price and features were just too good to pass up. The one thing I do not like about this laptop is the small right shift key. It does throw off my typing. But for my purposes I don't think it will be a big problem.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i shopped and studied all kinds of laptops i work two jobs and need a traveling office for both this laptop does everything i need it to and i can watch my movies and blu rays also - it also streams for netflix and the like the one thing that keeps it from getting that illusive 5th star is the layout of the keys - kind of annoying but not a deal breaker I got used to it pretty quick.

Wind 10 should come with a primmer. Still I believe this was an excellent deal, and great for beginners, like myself... Just be patient

Posted .With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.
