Basic Laptop

Ive Had It For About A Month Now & Have Experienced Some Slow Loading Times & Even Had It Shut Off Completely On Me One Time.. It Comes With The 6 Month Antivirus That I Installed In It.. It Does OK So Far. MEMORY & SPACE IS ELITE BUT PERFORMANCE ISNT..

Posted .This system should good speed with its Core I-3 processor and 6GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Great inexpensive laptop

The Lenovo had good reviews and was recommended highly by a few tech savvy friends. I would have given this laptop 5 stars but I find the audio system severely lacking. Even when turned up all the way, the volume is impossible to hear if there is any background noise

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. With regard to the speaker volume, you might try going in to Properties for sounds/speaker. For Playback, find the Enhancement Tab. Find Equalizer. Change setting to Powerful.
You get what you pay for

It runs the software I need it to run. It is not quick. But for the money it is a great machine. The case and trackpad are very cheap. It does not appear that it will hold up to any abuse(drop, squeeze,etc). But at his price, you can just buy a new one if something goes wrong.

I would recommend deleting any bloatware such as Norton. and make sure to optimize it.

The Pro basically has seen it's better days, so this was an inexpensive route to replace the lap top that I had and still meets my business needs - mobility when I need it. I'm a Mac fan but really wasn't ready financially to buy another MacBook - this one will do - no complaints other than I really don't like Windows.

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.
