I thought it would be as good as my Toshiba satellite laptop, an excellent, stand up to the use machine. It has almost the same delay time in performance as my mother's Vista cpu has now.

Battery life is as described. Speaker volume is a little quiet, but usually use headphones when listening to audio. Purchased on sale for $349, can't beat the price for the options.

So it is great if you plan to use it for browsing the web but not so much for running applications.

If you choose to use a different version than the McAfee software that is on the device, be sure you uninstall McAfee completely before you install another antivirus software. Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP. Concerning the speaker volume, here is a link to an article with tips for increasing the volume of your speakers on a Windows laptop:

Then at 11 months the hard drive went out and had to send back to lonovo. They had it about 3 weeks so no computer. Still have to turn it off to reboot often but works part time.

good laptop for just basic usage...

I have to say I feel a bit let down that the volume in the speakers isn't a little bit louder.... but, other than that I like the keyboard and it is pretty simple to use for just basic day to day things. Computer is now only aprox 1 month old. Unhappy customer!

Posted .The resizing of the screen may be due to inadvertent contact with the touchpad. You can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.
