It is light but has a great size monitor. It even has a disc player and a full keyboard. Great memory space. It runs very smooth and everyone in the family loves it.

great laptop for the price, the only thing I don't like is the position of the right shift key.

I purchased this Lenovo laptop for business and it has served me well. Currently my mentee has it for college. She has been using it since August and has not had a problem with it. It’s smooth and easy to use. You won’t be disappointed with this machine.

I bought this computer in June for a fair price and it works great. My mom hardly uses it, but my little sister does her homework on there if she's not watching videos on YouTube or playing a game. They haven't had any major issues with the computer.

This laptop does all that I need it to do, was a good price, and is efficient for my needs.

Needed a second laptop for on the go use, with the amount of memory and hard drive space it's perfect for running multiple applications and or Google Chrome tabs. The storage capability allows me to save huge files with not having to worry about using up all my space

A very good laptop for the money. Easy to set up and worked well right from the start. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I'm not thrilled with the keyboard. But unless you plan to write a great American novel on this lap top it shouldn't bother you.

I was looking for something with speed and memory and found it in this product. Battery life could be better but overall happy with the computer

I purchased two of these for a nonprofit I volunteer with, which has a very slender budget. The purchase decision was based on Lenovo's reputation for solid, reliable equipment, the specs and, of course, price, including the $50 markdown Best Buy was offering at the time. These are certainly not the thinnest, lightest, sexiest laptops available but we just needed something for emails and running MS Office and I wanted enough memory that the performance would be acceptable (no complaints from the users) and they could probably be upgraded later. I feel these are a good value and the end users have been happy with them. I did tweak the software a bit and replaced McAfee antivirus with Avira, which is free, has just as good performance and won't nag our users about paying. I also added MS Office 2016, available through TechSoup at a very attractive nonprofit discount.

On sale at BB this laptop was hard to resist. We were going to return it due to that ridiculous placement of the right shift key, but decided to put a sticker on the in-between (up arrow) key so that the right hand little finger notices that it is not the shift key. So far that is working. Can not believe Lenovo messed with a standard keyboard layout. The other issue is the slower than molasses 1TB HDD. Laptop felt like it was running on a 386 processor...lots of HDD noise but poor performance. Start up took more than 2 minutes! We changed the HDD to a 480GB SSD and now the Laptop feels like it's running on a i5. An additional $100 later we enjoy this laptop and have decided to keep it.

Read a bunch of the reviews. Have to agree that the shift key on the right side is annoying. Having the number pad set where it is I end up pushing the NumLock key often. Also find myself hitting the number 4 instead of enter a bit more as well. It is a light weight fast laptop. Once you get rid of some of the apps that are pre-installed it's even faster. Nice matte black textured finish on the case (inside and out) doesn't show the oils from your skin/fingers. USB's, headphone/mic, and power input are all on the left side which makes it nice for setup. Power cord is all one piece from plug to computer plug and the cord is a little on the short side. A nice laptop for the price I paid.

For what I use a computer for this is a very adequate unit. The keyboard took a little bit to master as the keys aren't quite the same as the HP computers I have always used in the past. It seems fast and I haven't had any issues with it.

I bought this as a replacement laptop for everyday use. Wanted one with an internal optical drive, optical drive stopped working after a month. Keyboard layout isn't great (to use page up/down, home/end you have to hold the function key; right shift key is very small). Touchpad is not as responsive as I'm used too but that might be software related. Pros: works great with Windows 10. Very speedy compared to my more powerful previous laptop, which had more RAM and faster processor (both i3s). Price was lowest I've seen for a basic ready-to-use machine. All in all, I got what I paid for and more, considering the super low price.

it it a light notebook easy to carry. It has a good clear screen. the speakers are junk, but I listen to everything throw headsets which work fine. mainly use it for word documents and internet surfing which I am happy with.

When I finally received this product I fell in love with it. at first it took longer to get then promised because they say it was lost in the mail. But Best Buy did not give me a problem to reorder Once arrived I was impressed at how easy it is to use. I love how fast this computer is compared to my older computer. The screen is so much larger and brighter I definitely recommend the Lenovo computer and the ease to work with the Best Buy employees

I compared the Lenovo to a Dell laptop that was a little more expensive. I decided to purchase the Dell but when I tried using it I was very disappointed in the screen resolution and readability. I returned it and purchased the Lenovo and it worked out perfectly. It's lightweight, fast and the screen resolution is beautiful. My wife needed something to play her background music for performances that she does and this worked out great.

Very good machine for the price. It is easy to use no matter what level of expertise that you possess. I would recommend that you purchase a wireless mouse as the internal mouse is not easy to use.
