Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

Posted .With regard to the battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

Best Price for the Cos

I do not use a laptop that often so this was quite adequate and had everything I needed to do on it. They came with office and Norton so I would consider this a perfect buy for anyone.

Ok, not thrilled

I thought it would be a neat feature but it's really annoying. As soon as I touch the screen the whole screen maximizes for no reason. The mouse is not easy to control, the little arrow on the slide disappears and it's really frustrating. I want to turn off the touch screen - I hate it... would be better Without touch screen

The keyboard does take a little getting used to as the keypad is a bit too close to the enter button and I hit the 4 a little often. Easy to use and very stylish with the all black case.

What's the point of putting 1 TB HDD in such a slow machine. May still be fair for the price but spending $50 more could have gotten me a much better computer. I would have returned it, but I am out of town most of the time I have bought it.

Posted .This system should have good speed with its Core I-3 processor and 6GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.
