This laptop did not meet my expectations

My old one had a touch screen. When I got home, this one did not! I tried to get used to using my built in mouse for everything.....and no go. So, I bought a different one.

What I'm finding is that the mouse gets stuck from time to time...or it gets lost where I can't see it. I have to then try and hit keys and play my way through trying to get it to reveal itself...so that I can start using the system again.

You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

The swiping pad things stopped working so now I have to use a usb mouse to be able to use my computer. It's upsetting

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15 laptop. With regard to the speaker volume, you might try going in to Properties for sounds/speaker. For Playback, find the Enhancement Tab. Find Equalizer. Change setting to Powerful.
