I love the ability to flip the screen under and use it as a tablet in bed, too. Great value.

Is easy to upgrade memory and pick and choose which apps you want without having a lot of bloatware already loaded on the machine. One drawback I see is the length of time rebooting takes.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 300-17 laptop. With regard to the reboot time, this could be due to software updating during the reboot. If you are finding that the device is also slow to start up from being turned completely off, you may want to consider putting your system in to "sleep" mode rather than shutting down completely. Wake up time is much shorter than start up time from completely off.

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

Great pc for the price

Very slow

Posted .This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the power plug port on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. You will need to set up and activate Windows again, as you did when you opened the system for the first time. Be sure to select "NO" when you are asked to set up a Microsoft account. Just put in any email address you choose when it asks for an email, it doesn't need to be a Microsoft email.
