Computer works fairly well at this price-point. However, you can hear the hard drive working and I would upgrade to a SSD. Tacky surface around touch pad slows down your hand from working at full speed.

I purchased this Lenovo after reviewing many different models. This was the best value because the memory is upgradable to 12gb. The 17" screen is phenomenal. I was concerned about the screen size as a laptop to carry around. It has proved to work just fine, although I had to get a laptop backpack that held a 17" sceeen. This is the laptop you want if you ar looking for performance, value, and reliability.

I have had the laptop for almost a month and it preforms great for what I wanted it for.

Great computer with Windows 10, Very little set up required before you can get started.

I had read in reviews where there were some keyboard issues and slowness. The one that started almost immediately was the keyboard where the characters took some time to appear on the screen after the key was pressed. This caused some characters to be missing and required me to have to go back and re-type. The other was that even with an I3 processor and 4GB ram, the system was very slow at times, way slower than my old Toshiba Satellite A665 laptop which is beginning to see its age. Not sure if this is a Windows 10 issue or a Hardware/driver issue or both. Lenova will need to do something about this if it still intends to build and sell laptops that will meet user needs.

I have been satisfied with the Lenovo 300 since out of the box. Very user friendly.

Almost everything I wanted/needed except back-lit keyboard. Keyboard is a bit different and takes some getting use to. Often slow to switch apps.

Great price, perfect for school work. I really love the size of the screen as well.

This laptop with the bigger screen is perfect for our family and school projects.

17.3 inch monitor. I use it as my TV. Very nice machine especially for the price.

When looking to replace my hp computer that I had for five years, I was not sure if Lenovo was a good option, but this computer surpassed my expecrations. It is a great desicion to buy Lenovo. I do reccomend to buy any Lenovo.

Even though it went on sale for much less about a week later on Black Friday and we are not allowed to return the item for a discount. It's OK, not the speed I thought it really had, but oh well. I'll know next time :)
