The computer came with 4gb RAM, snail speed and does not run very fast. The computer is for work and only had Microsoft office installed. I needed to buy 8gb RAM to make it run at turtle speed. When I check settings it says 8gb RAM installed, only 1gb available.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre 300s desktop. Microsoft Office software is already installed on this system as part of the Windows 10 operating system. If you installed another copy of the software, you are running two full suites of software every time you launch Office. You need to uninstall the copy of Microsoft Office you installed. Then activate the original copy of Office with the product key on the copy of the program you purchased. lenovo

The computer is light and the motherboard runs most of the system. I swap the original DVD drive for a bluray one and added some memory, Not a problem just be careful to replace everything The computer runs cooler than my old one. The trade off is to expand it further I would just have to replace it. One big advantage is that WIN 10 is installed, That will save you 2 hours setup time

I got this to replace an outdated workstation at my office. While it's not setting the world on fire it is perfectly able to run MS Office and our accounting program. I did upgrade it to 8GB of DDR3 204 pin Ram to make it run a little smoother. Plus the case is build so that it can be upgraded with a standard Mini-ITX Mobo and 1U PSU so that is a plus. I hate proprietary designs.

I got an open box deal, so I got it cheap, this is an entry level PC so don't expoect a rocket for 300 bucks, but it's not bad, No Frills Pc for average home user, but don't expect to be doing gaming of photo editing etc

I bought this computer for my elderly mother to check her emails and store images and do basic web surfing to replace her very old and very slow computer. It works perfectly and she is very happy. Dell quality I have come to know and expect. I am very pleased with the purchase.

This was purchased for a computer/business office for an apartment complex. It has worked well and does the job. It is a starter computer and for most gamers won't suffice, but for basic get the job done computing, it will work just fine. Plus the price is pretty good.

Computer is really slow running basic programs such Microsoft office. We had to purchase extra RAM. It works fine now. Since it is relatively cheap, we didn't mind spending the extra money on RAM.

I bought this computer to use with my extra television so I could watch sports without actually having a cable box hooked up. There were some initial hiccups such as the computer needing to reboot each time I went to full screen but an internet search revealed that this could be fixed by updating the video drivers. Since doing that the issues have gone away. Only other issue is that sometimes the mouse pointer will be slow to respond and will skip across the screen slowly instead of moving with the intended motions. Overall for the price I am happy with what the computer. May still look into upgrading the memory but for now don't want to put any more $$ into it than I need to.

This computer is great for home or office use. It does what I need it to do for everything that isn't gaming. If you are trying to game on this system, be aware that it is not great for that. It can run most games, but a lot of them are at low quality. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

This is a great little computer, I keep adding programs and it just keeps on rolling along. Was easy to setup. I have had for 6 months now and it's running just like new. I have several different people using this one and no issues.

Nice desktop computer. Compact size and easy to get at all the ports. Once the install is done (took forever and then an update needed to be done before we could even use it) it runs at average speed. Randomly kicks on from sleeping (like it's sending something?) several times an hour, which is weird. Does run on the slow side and mind you we were using a computer that had windows 7 installed on it, a 500 gb hard drive, and 4 gb memory. Working on getting rid of the extra apps on it and will probably be adding more memory. All in all though it's a good desktop computer at a reasonable price.
