ONLY USED THIS COMPUTER 3 TO 4 TIMES PER WEEK FOR 2 HR PART TIME JOB, LIGHT WEB SURFING, AND OCCASIONAL PRINTING. AUG 22, 2016 CPU FAN QUIT WORKING. BOUGHT PROTECTION PLAN FOR GEEK SQUAD (WILL NOT GET A COMPUTER TO USE WHILE YOURS IS BEING WORKED ON) TOOK COMPUTER TO STORE ON SAME DAY IT QUIT WORKING. STORE RECEIVED COMPUTER BACK 09/08/2016 AND APPARENTLY IT STILL DID NOT GET FIXED AFTER BEEN SHIPPED TO THE REPAIR CENTER. SO I AM STILL WAITING TO SEE IF I AM GOING TO HAVE TO A GET ANOTHER COMPUTER WHICH MEANS I WILL LOOSE ALL OF MY PICTURES THAT I DOWNLOADED TO THIS UNRELIABLE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT BECAUSE ACCORDING TO GEEK SQUAD MY PLAN DOES NOT COVER FILE TRANSFER WHICH WOULD COST ME MORE MONEY. Recommend purchasing more memory since the system come with window 10. Its is constantly freezing. I only use this DESKTOP to run one program and it can barely do that.

I barelly have used this at all, maybe two hours a week. The cd player has made sounds from day one that sounded like it was ready to die. My next computer will not be a lenovo!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased two of these for my office about a month apart; within a few weeks of purchasing the second one the first one developed a "fan" issue which ended up overheating and burning up the motherboard. Brought it to Best Buy and after two months the manufacturer agreed to return my purchase price. Within a week of receiving this news, the second computer began with the same problem. This time, they repaired the fan and returned the tower to me. Overall, my business was without sufficient computers for approximately three months.

No other choice but to receive another Lenova replacement after protest and purchased a replacement Seagate external hard drive which was also nonfunctional! Beware, Seagate replaced the first with a "certified" refurbished- NOT NEW- and charged me shipping for the return and replacement. b

Took it back to Best Buy and they said it would take 2-3 weeks to get repaired/replaced. Add insult to injury, they wanted to charge me $150 to save the data on the hard drive.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre 300s desktop. With regard to the slow web page load issue, check your internet security settings. They may be set too high so they are blocking ads on the web pages. This will slow down the web page. Check how the system performs on a non-online task like opening a program like Microsoft Word. Then try opening a file in the program. If the system performs normally, it is most likely you internet settings.
