    Went in looking at an HP with basically the same specs but it was a 17-inch laptop which is a bit large. Right new to it was this Lenovo at 15.6 that had the same spec for $50 less. It was also the last one in stock...LOL! I am a Mac guy but my wife needed this for work. Seems to do an alright job and with a !TB hard drive, it should last a long time.

    My trusty 8 year old toshiba laptop finally was going..battery issues. I browsed online at BestBuy for a replacement and decided I'd probably go for a Lenovo before I went in the store. I looked at a few in the store but I really wanted a cd/DVD drive still in my laptop so that limited me on my choices. So the salesperson showed me this computer which I was familiar with already from my online pre review so decided filled my needs perfectly. I have it up and running now and am very happy! Thanks!

    This is a great computer - I love everything about it except for the configuration of the lower right shift key. It is placed below the enter key making it a farther stretch and awkward to type on. I find that I hit the PgUp key 9 out of 10 times when trying to type a capital letter, which is annoying.

      Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 310-15 laptop. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP. lenovo
