I decided to wait to review it until after she has gotten some good use out of it first. I actually purchased this computer for myself first after my other laptops crashed. I get great use out of it from school, basic browsing, checking emails, and youtube. It worked well for me so I decided to get one for my 8 year old. She loves it, especially with this being her first official computer. Serves the purpose for me and her. I would definitely recommend for basic needs.

Basic computer for basic task, not for serious use.

Battery life is great I can usually use it for school work and bills for 2-3 days on a full charge. Only thing I have found that I don’t like is that the speakers are in the bottom so while trying to watch a video the sound isn’t great if sitting on your lap.

It also has Dolby Audio sound enhancement. Be sure you have turned on Dolby Audio and adjusted it to your preferences for optimum audio fidelity.
