We purchased this laptop for my father-in-law who only wanted to use it for general document creation and printing-as well as some family history and genealogy work. Minimal internet use, but plenty of storage space for his needs. We were looking at a different computer with more features and versatility, a Best Buy Associate helped us talk out our needs and wants, and this machine fit much better. Great buying experience, and product use after about 3 weeks now.

Probably the best laptop under five hundred dollars. Very fast, and has a backlit keyboard (fn + space bar).

This is my second laptop and I couldn’t be happier with it. The speed and storage is exactly what I needed.

We are very happy with the selection of this laptop to be our basic-use, home laptop. We do not store much on our hard drive and we don't do much with graphics and gaming on this machine so it's perfect for the basic functioning we do. It's very lightweight and fast. I haven't honed in the display preferences yet to make it display the way we fully want but we'll get there too.

This computer is solid design wise the only issue is that while running the fan is loud. For being a newer computer it makes a lot of noise. This computer is used mainly for school work and playing the latest version of sims. The keyboard is good for typing, the battery life is not the best.

My daughter needed a new computer to finish her nursing school. Her old screen was iffy, and the machine was old and slow and full. Without spending a lot of money, I got her this machine which so far is doing what we need. It remains to be seen how it performs over the coming years, but so far, so good.

Super start-up speed. Reliable solid-state drive and nice touch with the backlit keyboard

This laptop is small, lightweight, and easy to use - love the backlit keyboard and overall placing of keys. The price was right in that laptops never seem to last as long as you would think. First Lenovo purchase as my last HP laptop blew it's motherboard in the second year - and HP wouldn't do anything. There is enough power and options on this new Lenovo to last and so far, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Has a SSD in it and is blazing fast. Bought this for my wife for work. She loves it

I am an electronics novice, having not bought a laptop in about ten years. This laptop is well-equipped and well-priced. It has adequate RAM, a mid-line Intel processor, and a solid state hard drive...all the things that I was told to look for...in an aluminum case! I even discovered that it has a back-lit keyboard, which I was sure that I was not going to find in a laptop in this price range!

My previous laptop died at a time I really didn't have a ton of money to invest in a new one. I found this one in the "open box" section. It was a better computer than I was expecting to get. I love everything about it, but wish it had a touch screen like my previous laptop. I wasn't expecting to miss the touch screen so much.

Got the laptop as my company needed their Dell back for another employee and I couldn't be happier with the switch. This thing is lightning times faster than that dell was. I don't run a lot of programs so I don't need massive RAM or memory, but for everyday use and normal programs, this thing definitely has enough speed for my needs.

FOR AN INEXPENSIVE OPTION, THIS LAPTOP ACCOMPLISHES A LOT. IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT AND THIN, IT BOOTS UP FAST AND LOADS WEBSITES AT SPEEDS MY DESKTOP DOESN'T REACH. I LOVE THAT IT HAS A NUMBER KEYPAD. DISPLAY IS PRETTY. NOTE THAT I DON'T USE IT FOR MUCH OTHER THAN SPREADSHEET AND WORD PROCESSING, AND THEN WORKING WITH CLOUD-BASED DATA, BUT I AM SUPER HAPPY WITH IT SO FAR.

Coming from an Apple guy, just like the title says “best laptop for the bank”. I use this laptop on a daily basis and I have no complaints whatsoever fiven the fact I paid so little. Yes it is not touchscreen, yes it doesn’t fly, I use it for work and I run all apps on Microsoft Suite and quickbooks on it. It takes it like champ. If you are on a budget, get it!

The move to a laptop was a big deal for me, a 67-year-old whose home computer has been a tower/monitor/keyboard workstation since the early 90s. My son had kept trying to convince me of the advantages of not being tied to the desk in our home office, but I just would not be convinced. When the time finally came, he helped me pick out a laptop, and while I'm glad of the freedom it represents, I'm particularly happy with the Lenovo. My requirements are modest: VPN connection to work, run Quicken, do email, my Fantasy league, watch a little Netflix. All boxes checked. And the size and feel of the keyboard are great. I'm just old-fashioned enough to have a Logitech mouse attached. And I find I update Quicken and other programs more frequently, so each session is less arduous. I'm a happy camper!

This laptop was sold at a decent price for the specs, and performance is satisfying. It has a slim profile, keyboard is responsive, and there is minimal bloatware. Battery life is sufficient. The only thing that I would have liked is for the power cord to be longer, but that is very minor compared to all the good things that this laptop has to offer.

Lenovo is easy to take around good size not heavy and very fast.

Solid Machine, Slim and light. Not too large but adequate display space. Not loaded with a lot of slick looking but marginally useful features. SSD is fast and reliable. I use this for business communication, data analysis, and general personal use (internet, email, social media). Good choice for a mid priced machine for serious office applications.
