A: There is almost 10 times the storage space on the 1TB standard drive but the performance of the 128GB solid state hard drive is up to 30% faster than a standard hard drive. This includes boot up of the system, opening files and programs. If you use relatively few installed programs on a device, you can store files on an external hard drive with the solid state drive.

A: Hello. 1.6 Gigahertz is only the “base” frequency. The maximum frequency with turbo boost is 3.4 Gigahertz. On average mine runs around 2.8GHz.

A: This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. We recommend you check with your certified technician about replacing the existing hard drive with a compatible larger version.
