First off, Best Buy is horrible at packing things up. Mine arrived with barely any tape left holding it closed. Tape that was the extremely cheap paper kind. It also was only padded on ONE side. Luckily, the tiny laptop arrived undamaged. Regardless, this sort of thing is unacceptable. As for the Chromebook, it's ok. Don't expect to do much more than you can on a mid range budget phone, because that's basically what a Chromebook is. Just a phone made to look like a laptop. It does what I need to do. I bought it for storing text/pdf/etc files for work and using the internet. The amount of storage is awful on these, and mostly ALL Chromebooks. Luckily you can extend the storage via an SD card or USB drive. Just make sure either is formatted to ExFat or Fat32 otherwise it can't read it. The screen is less than mediocre, but again, gets the job done for what I need it for. The wifi card is really bad. It drops signal easily if you stray even a reasonable amount away from your router. Nothing is upgradeable. You're stuck with the soldered RAM and flash memory it comes with. Also, Google like forcing people to keep buying more and more, so all Chromebooks have an end date attached as to when they'll stop giving them updates. You can still use it of course, but it'll never be up to date again. Lastly, mine came with Windows Vista on it, which isn't even possible. I was going to send it back but I easily removed it.

My favorite by far LOVE THIS PRODUCT. This is actually my 4th purchase of Lenovo PC I bought my daughter one when she graduated nursing school my granddaughter and this is my second. Durable, long lasting

I purchased this for my 10 yr old daughter. She loves it. On appearance alone, it is nicely made. Performance wise, it runs very smooth. Stays charged for hours. I don’t regret choosing this laptop. It is a great laptop at a great price.

The Lenovo Chromebook 3 hits the sweet spot for an affordable yet capable Chrome OS laptop. The 11-inch HD screen provides ample real estate for browsing and apps. The AMD A6 processor and 4GB RAM deliver snappy performance for my daily tasks like email, documents, and streaming video. I don't need a powerful machine and the Chromebook 3 handles my needs without any slowdowns or hiccups. The 32GB of onboard storage is adequate for Chrome OS but you also get 100GB of Google Drive space for 2 years which is nice. The battery lasts around 8-10 hours on a full charge which gets me through a full workday. The keyboard and trackpad are both responsive and comfortable to use. At just over 2 pounds, it's lightweight enough to easily carry around the house or toss in a bag. For the very reasonable price, the build quality is decent and the black design looks subtle and professional. If you just need a solid Chromebook for light computing and browsing, the Lenovo Chromebook 3 is a budget-friendly choice worth considering.

This is one of the best buys I've made in my life. The chromebook is lightweight, super-fast given its specifications. Web browsing is very seamless. The product doesn't hang. Have been using this on a daily basis for the past one year. Battery Life is also good.

An excellent Chromebook, runs flawlessly and the size is nice and small that I can take it with me. I'm not too worried about drive space as I'm only planning to use this to surf the internet, check my emails and maybe watch YouTube. It's pretty snappy and only has the apps that you use through Google. Battery life is pretty good as I was able to get around 3 to under 4 hours before plugging it back in. Recommended.

Great compact Chromebook for a great price. I’ve recently been in the market for a new laptop as the 15 inch Dell laptop I purchased in 2013, is beginning to get old. While it has been a great laptop & served my need well, it’s definitely time for an upgrade. I’ve heard great things about the Lenovo brand & wanted to see what all the fuss is about. I really only need it for school work and the occasional web-surfing or for a lil Netflix & chill. Which it is fully capable of handling. Thank you Lenovo for this affordable great product. I highly recommend it to those in the market for a great new laptop/Chromebook.

This computer is AMAZING. I love it. Only have it for a few days now, and it's so fast, and the battery is good. Highly recommend it. I know its Chromebook, but its very good. Although, I don't know how to set up my Microsoft word system into it. Typing this review on my my Chromebook now! The only thing that sucks is that you can't put you're apps on the wallpaper if that makes sense. Maybe you can I just don't know how too. Anyways, have a nice day!

Picked this up during the Black Friday price and it was also an open box so that just added to more savings. This little computer does circles around my 4th gen i5. Setup was painless and connected seamlessly to my WiFi. I have access to productivity apps compatible with office apps thanks to google docs and sheets. Video playback from YouTube is pleasantly enjoyable as well. I didn’t want to be confined to the 11” screen so this little device will output to a bigger screen with a usb c to usb c / hdmi, display port or vga adapter. Amazon or Monoprice is good for this cable. The AMD A6 processor is powerful enough for some casual gaming / emulation. The Google Play Store allows you to download some A+ games and emulators too (Dolphin). I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an alternative to a traditional pc and also any hobbyists who would like to experience chrome os too.

Exceptionally fast for the price. With the deal of the day at Best Buy I was able to snag this chromebook for less than $100. It compares very well to other, more expensive chromebooks. It has a lot of the same specifications as more expensive machines, minus the touch screen and other additional features I wouldn’t use. So for me, this was a great deal. Others have mentioned the 720p screen isn’t satisfactory, but honestly, it looks much better to me than, for example, the 720p screen on my Nintendo Switch Lite. Also I was able to hook this chromebook up via USB-C to a 1080p television, and stream in full HD. So the capabilities here for the price are really great. One thing of note, Chromebooks do NOT have a HULU app. I wanted to use this chromebook to stream HULU instead of my Switch, but on chromebooks HULU can only be accessed from the internet browser. Not a huge downside, but worth mentioning. Overall, I really would recommend this machine, especially if you can get it at a reasonable price point.

Decent little chromebook. The processor is a bit speedier than other chromebooks in this inexpensive price range; trackpad worked well, screen is not great, the 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports were appreciated so I could hook up an external microphone and USB-C to HDMI converter to display on a TV for zoom conferences. THE ZOOM APP FOR CHROME OS IS BAD. Features that are found on Zoom iOS and Win OS are missing - the main one being the ability to share audio when sharing a video. There is no "share audio" box when you share your screen. The only way that the folks on the zoom meeting will hear the audio is for it to play through the chromebook speakers and the microphone picks it up from there. The video sound stinks and if there is other noise in the room, it stinks even more. This was a deal breaker for me and I will be returning this Chromebook and purchasing a laptop.

I bought the Lenovo Chromebook 3 as a gift for my daughter and she said it is the best she has owned. Its the perfect size for her to carry along with her in her backpack wherever she goes, its light weight, very durable and very fast to load . She loves it!

Loved this chromebook! My kids were gifted chromebooks from family to make homeschooling easier during the height of the pandemic. I wanted my own so I could research, save ideas, etc while teaching them at home. This allowed me to stay near them for helping as needed, but to keep working on the next days lessons and ideas. Now that we are no longer homeschooling, my chromebook is just convenient for every day things. I keep it downstairs so I can hop on and off in between chasing a toddler, completing my grocery orders, other shopping, researching, or even just fun lazy stuff like watching a show or listening to music while I clean up. It’s portable, convenient. Stores plenty. Very happy!

I could not believe the small laptop was so fast for the price I paid for it. It works very well, holds a battery charge well and is easy to operate.
