My 7 yo Dell laptop finally died and I needed a quick replacement that wasn't expensive. I never had a chromebook before and was a little skeptical. This one was on sale and had good reviews and I decided to take the plunge and buy it until I had the funds for a nice laptop. I'm so happy I did!! I ordered online and had it delivered and up and running in less than 24 hrs.! It's lightweight, very easy to use, and great for every day basic use like email and web surfing. It's fast and the battery life is great!! If you don't need all the bells and whistles and extra programs, this one is a great buy for every day use.

Bought this Lenovo Chromebook on sale open-box-excellent for about $95; paid $105 including sales tax. Reasons I liked this one: 14 inch full HD screen (those 11 inch screens are too small for my aging eyes), 64 GB eMMC drive (most are 32 GB at this price), 4 GB RAM, Mediatek MT8183 octa-core processor, and June 2028 automatic update expiration (AUE). This $100 Chromebook is all most average users need for web browsing, light word processing and reading email. Printer setup now easy, which it was not in the past for Chromebooks. Thanks Best Buy!

The ideaPad 3 Chromebook 14" is a very capable device at a budget price. Pros: - Automatic Chrome OS/Security updates until 6/28!!!! - FHD internal display. - Decent trackpad/keyboard. - Battery life. - 64 GB storage. Cons: - Hardware limitation for external FHD (1920x1080p@60Hz) display according to Lenovo support. - A bit slow at times, but need to keep in mind that this is budget machine. Had to do a hard-reboot to clear memory and fix microphone. - Faint microphone. Conclusion: Come on, Lenovo if you are providing FHD internal display , your customer is expecting FHD(1920x1080p@60Hz) external monitor support as well. I tried different USB-C dongles (with up to 4K support) different monitors FHD monitors and HDMI cables. The best resolution I could get was 1440x900@60Hz and it does not look nice on a 24" monitor. Just for disclosure, I have had this machine for a couple of days only.

Bought it for light work like docs / excel sheet. working perfect for my needs. battery last 3days. No programs like pc/mac. It's mobile like device which has big screen and a keyboard .

Great computer last alot longer than expected and easy to manage for me and my teens.

It’s definitely a decent computer for the price range, but don’t expect anything special from it. Good for people who don’t know technology very well. Good battery too

Got it for a job I thought I was going to take, didn't work out but still happy with the purchase. Its light, pretty good battery (lasted most of the day with plenty of on screen time), and for the money its definitely a bargain. Of course there's no touchscreen or back lit keys but again you have to consider the price.

This was my first Chromebook. It replaced a 15 year old Windows device. Coming from that it seemed to fly! I ran all of my business, hobby and personal computing needs on it for over a year. My wife, who had retired was really tired of her old laptop so I gave this one to her and purchased a Chromebook with twice as much ram, storage, a faster frame rate and gaming capable for when the grandkids come over. It works well for as she is not much interested in tech and has retired some years ago.

Okay, I'm a tech guy here so yall can trust what I'm about to say. I got this Chromebook because my windows laptop decided to crap out on me over winter break. I'm a college student so I need to have a computer. I needed to get something cheap as like many college students I'm pretty strapped for cash. That's why I turned to Chromebook. I could find any other 14in with an 8-core CPU in it. If yall are getting this for college work make sure that you check the CPU specs as Chromebooks can run on pretty crappy CPUs since the operating system is lightweight. Don't bother with any Dual-core machine if you're going to be doing any amount of multitasking. Overall switching from windows to chrome OS wasn't that bad and it does everything I need it to for college. Yes, it cant run some of the high-end software that some classes will need but those are few and far in between. If you come across yourself needing proper desktop software for a class just use your university's online remote desktop which should allow you to get access to any software your university has license for and use it through a virtual machine on the browser. Overall, the screen is okay, smashes through multiple browser taps & apps open at the same time, has great battery life (I have to charge mine every other day or so), speakers are just eh, and the price is great.

i got this used in "Open-Box Excellent - Certified" condition for more than 50% off and for the sub $100 price, this is a great device! i needed something cheap for browsing the internet and this does that very well. no lag issues or anything like that. battery life lasts a while and i only have to charge this about once a week with my few hours a day usage!

I've been looking to get a Chromebook for a while and I wish I had purchased it sooner! It's so fast, lightweight, easy to use, I could go on but I'd definitely recommend this to friends and family.

I didn't use the device myself but my friend whom I bought it for uses it for his business and it has helped him keep up with inventory, following up on emails, chatting with his wife in Egypt, he was very thankful since no one really gets presents after what? 18? For a Chromebook, this is a beast. I should've bought two because of the 64Gb space (it's a Chromebook)

Great Chromebook for the price. Long lasting, very durable. Use it for school, surfing the web, and streaming. Would definitely buy again. Very happy with my purchase!!

Great for my 9 year old son to use as his first own computer. Easy to set up parental controls so I can see exactly how much time he’s on it and which apps he downloads. Holds battery charge well, Great price, and seems to be a great starter. Recommend for kids!

Perfect for online school. Daughter using in mid-elementary. The performance is very adequate for applications and web based with google classroom. Performs well as web browsing and playtime for her. Battery life is adequate for several hours. Good value

I bought this machine for my son, overall performance is good, now my other kids are using this for internet surfing and doing ther home work, i am giving four stars bcause i ordered open box execellent, product look almost brand new but they didn't sent charger with that i had to buy from market.

Its a pretty good laptop for school and entertainment over all would suggest using headphones for watching movies but pther then that its pretty good the screen is pretty decent butni got it when it was 150$ so i suggest only getting when its around that price

This is a great chrome book. -Updates till June 2028 -14 Inch --64 gb -Full HD etc Had this for a week and loads super fast, great image. I am completely happy with purchase. Best buy always has some great deals and great agents to help out. Thanks

We use the chromebook for surfing the web and has been great so far. The only time it slows down is when I have too many tabs open. The 14 inch screen is a nice upgrade over the 11 inch screen that I was using previously.

Excellent machine for $150 on sale-- sure, you give up a backlit keyboard and the trackpad is a little flimsy but strong enough for you to only have to tap it - it works well. Artic Grey makes it a bit close in color to my Macbook Air, good battery life-- Full HD screen (did not even know about that when I bought it)-- matte finish makes it easy on the eyes. Lenovo did a really good job with an entry level product. Mediatek processor surprisingly speedy for browsing. Hope it lasts a long time - also ordered a refurbished Thinkpad (another battle tank with fantastic keyboard). Lenovo makes good stuff-- attention to detail. You won't be disappointed.
