I bought it to replace the one I previously had that was slowing down. It's nice a light but not so lightweight I fell like it will break. It charges quickly and has a good battery life. Only minor complaint is there is no caps lock and I have to use ALT Search but that is a standard among Chromebooks.

The keyboard shortcut to use on a Chromebook for CAPS LOCK is: To turn on caps lock: Hold down ALT and the search key (which has a magnifying glass icon on it) — this will make a confirmation message appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen. To turn off caps lock: Hit the Shift key, or repeat the keyboard shortcut for turning on caps lock.

I like its ease of use and the long battery life is a very big plus. It is very light weight, the on screen keyboard makes it very easy to use in the dark.

After I read a book on Chrome then OS works great. After you on Chrome web browser then Windows training works on the browser. The Chrome browser loads web site faster than Windows version. Neg. side no games or word processer and Google word is poor conpare to Windows Word. You can't upgrade the memory or storage because it is soldered in place. No DVD drive but I never use one because I stream the movies.

Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store. The Chromebook 3 14 is compatible with Google Play Store APPs. Not all Google Play Store APPs are optimized for the Chrome Operating System. We recommend you check with the specific APPs software publisher's web sites, of the Google Play Store APPs you want to use, for their compatibility with the Chrome operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

He is in 6th grade and had finally had it with the chromebooks that school provided. After searching on best buy's website, I figured I would get this one as it was on sale and the price was so affordable. He loves this and brings to school every day. The battery lasts for a very long time. He only needs to charge it every 3 days. He says it is very fast and faster than my laptop.

I am so glad i ordered this Chromebook as I love everything about it. It is so fast and so easy to use. Perfect for me - i am retired and just need to be able to use email, pay bills, and internet. I would definitely recommend thisChromebook - i got it at a Black Friday Sale Price and this is the best purchase of the season for me.

Easy to load and start up. Got this one for more storage as I play games and my last computer didn't have enough storage. I LOVE the security Google has for Chromebook and feel pretty safe. NOT interested in Windows as it has too much to deal with. If I need it, I use husbands PC and did I mention the price Best Buy had? Fantastic price!
