Everything seems to be doing what it's supposed to except the network WiFi card. It falls to pick up a WiFi signal and sometimes drops the signal. Often I have to restart the laptop to get it to lock on to the network. Other than that the laptop is fast and works great. It has an awesome screen and the touch screen functions great.

Simply put, b/c I'm not interested in writing some long review, I love the clarity & brightness of the screen! I appreciate the backlit keyboard, makes typing easier in low light or in the dark. It's a very fast laptop, can't imagine how fast the i5 is b/c the i3 is super fast! All in all a great product for the price! And, comes with Windows 10, which I'm still getting aquatinted with.

Laptop features are amazing for price. Screen is IPS and looks very good. I3 5020 is very fast even with installed hard drive. Install a ssd and you will have a laptop that most people pay $800 for. Construction is very solid. Buy it while it's still on sale and before they sell out.

    Decent but a few flaws.

The performance was decent. The laptop felt well built. However, the "2-1" is a bit lacking. Converting to a 270 stand is nice, but it stops short of the full 360 bend making it less useful than it could be. The real flaw for me was the touchpad. The left and right-click have two modes, one is a "touchscreen" type of touch for the entire touchpad. It was inconsistent when you tap on the actual left and right buttons. The other mode is a full-blown click on the left and right buttons. This was consistent but not easy. It was awkward to lightly tab the touchpad 80% of the time, but then have to do a full button click the other 20%. I would have preferred one or the other, but not both, and not inconsistently. I tried many models at the store after this. Some models also have this issue, others did not. Until this technology is fully fleshed out, I recommend trying them in the store (light taps and full clicks) to find out what you prefer and whether your laptop will support your preference.

We actually got this at a great price because it is a discontinued model and it was the last one at our Best Buy. So far it has been a great computer and the only reason I gave one star less was due to the fact it doesn't have a DVD drive so we had to buy an external one. Other than that I would definitely recommend this computer.

I have to admit, i've had better laptops. However, for the price i paid i can't really spend too much time complaining ($225 open-box), The touch-screen is glitchy. I have to completely restart the laptop at least once a day to reset everything. The touchpad isn't as sensitive, and responsive as previous ones i've had. It can be an issue when playing games, or navigating websites. Most of my issues with this unit involved my adapting to Windows 10, which isn't Lenovo's problem. A huge plus is that i used the laptop outside for over six hours, today. Screen on 100% brightness, while browsing online, and listening to music via Windows Media Player. And i still had 13% remaining when i headed indoors. Not too shabby.

    Great Bang For The Buck

I won't list any of the features because many reviewers have done it already. I purchased this laptop during the Best Buy deal of the day. You can't beat the price for what you get. It looks and feels like a laptop twice the price. So Lenovo did a good job here packing in a ton of features for a low out the door price. In the past many have accused Lenovo of bloatware and I can tell you it's not too bad and whatever you don't need you can uninstall. They even provided a users manual for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 in case you want to do some reading and familiarize yourself with the product. Some of the software bundled is actually useless while McAfee's AV is a 1 month trial. Performance wise, this thing flies with Windows 10 even with 80+ processes running in the background as you would expect with 8GB of Ram. The keyboard feels good as the keys have a nice springy feel to them and they are quiet while typing. The FHD screen looks good and the touchscreen is responsive. One thing to pass along. There have been many comments about WiFi dropping, or not coming back on after sleep mode or the laptop shutting down for no apparent reason. So i'll pass on the following tip because this is all software and device driver related: Go into device manager and look at each device and in the profile look for the "Power Management Tab" and UNCHECK any box that says this device can turn off the computer to save power. There were several and i'm happy to report that sleep mode works great, WiFi no longer drops and is running when I wake up the laptop and the laptop no longer shuts down on it's own.

This was a steal. $349.00 for a 2 in 1 laptop by a reputable maker was just the right price for me. I was looking for something with 5th generation intel however I bit, and haven't been disappointed.

Been looking at laptops for the past couple months waiting for a good one at a good price. This laptop has the best specs in this price range...5th gen i3 at 2.2 gigahertz, 1080p, touchscreen, wireless-ac, bluetooth, 4 cell battery and 8gb of ram. Only negatives would be its only an i3, I wouldve prefered an i5 or i7 but at least its a higher end i3 model, the keyboard feels a little cheap specially compared to the heavy duty aluminum case which does leave alot of finger prints, also would prefer a bigger keyboard. The touch screen is very responsive, i haven't had any issues. Also haven't had any noticeable issues with losing my wifi connection but went ahead and shut off the windows power saving control of the wifi in device manager, I also installed a 480gb ssd, which best buy had the sandisk ultra ll on sale for $133.99, now the laptop runs like a high end laptop, except for the geaphics of course, great picture and slightly better than average sound. Overall great laptop, not disappointed at all with my choice.

Keyboard - It's excellent. Very smooth and precise. The keyboard on this laptop is very well made. 300 Degree Turn - I'm excited to use this feature more. It's designed so that the keyboard doesn't touch the surface and it's nice to have the screen right in front of you without the keyboard and use the touch screen for browsing. There's a touchscreen keyboard, like a tablet, that you can use when the laptop is on the standing mode. Pretty slick feature.

Overall I am very satisfied with this product. Despite all the negative reviews, I bought it to replace my old laptop that drove me nuts with noise and heat coming from the vent. This one is what I need – cool and quiet. The performance is good – I don’t feel any difference compared to my old laptop with an i5 CPU. I like its full HD IPS screen – it’s very sharp and bright; it also provides more workspace, although it requires a shorter distance to the eyes than a regular 1366x768. It’s touch-screen enabled, but this feature is rarely used. It has some software and hardware issues, but they can be addressed. First of all, the HDD can and must be replaced with an SSD to fully enjoy the potential of this (and any) laptop. Its keyboard is not good for serious work – too soft; this results in many typing errors. The arrow keys blend with the rest of the keys – you can’t locate them by touch and every time need to look at the keyboard to find them (all Lenovo keyboards I’ve seen are like this), so I’m replacing it with an external keyboard – a really nice setup when the laptop is used in the stand mode. The Lenovo settings software is glitchy – it stopped working properly at some point (there are many negative feedbacks on that), but I’ve been able to make it work through changing background app settings. The wifi issues can also be addressed by turning off the power saving for the wifi adapter. Anyway, for the price (less than $400), it’s a unique combination of specs that deserves the top rating even with the described issues.

Negative: I have been an HP purchaser for many years so this shift to Lenovo is taking some adjusting. The laptop is heavy, even without a DVD/CD player. The touch pad is off center to the left because of the numbers pad to the right, so I have to off-center the computer on my lap and even at that am skimming it with my left palm and keep using the right click by accident. Battery is nothing like they state, I am getting 3 hours. Positive: Love the dual action of being able to fold it and have the keyboard create the backstand, very stable in a number of positions. Great screen, touch element perfect for my use playing simple games, word processing, photos, movie streaming, and email. Would recommend in this lower price range for people who don't need lighting speed.

For the price, this is a robust laptop with upgradeable memory and backlit keyboard. It's heavier, less portable, than I'd hoped. The least desirable feature is the case, which easily shows fingerprints.
