The mousepad on the laptop is tough to use, like almost all laptops, so supplement this laptop with a basic Logitech Anywhere MX mouse or similar. Once you're setup, UNINSTALL the McAfee antivirus software. All it does is slow down your system. After that, you'll have a GREAT, ready to use product that flows at the ergonomic work speed and processing speed you need it to.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Flex 4-14. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

He needed it for school work after his last one stop working (he had that one for about 3 years). I am a techie so I'm pretty particular about specifics...will a laptop do what it says it will do. My son has had it for a few weeks and so far so good. The response rate is pretty good (which is usually a challenge for offbrand PCs/laptops), the touch screen is a bonus for my son, and he's been able to utilize the flex capability as well. We've loaded a few additional apps on it with no trouble. For the money, it looks like a pretty good deal. The only thing I would ding is the charge time it claims. It starts to run down after 4 or 5 hours, not 7 hours like it claims. That's why it didn't get 5 stars.

Posted .With regard to the battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

For the price point of view I think is very good option, is not ultra fast computer and acceptable. I can play games on it, touchscreen is very nice, Computer is nice looking... I mean considering price ;). Not a high End Machine but works perfect for the needs!

It's perfect because it is easy to use, versatile, and still has the touch screen feature he was accustom to. The keys were perfect size, as is the form factor. A great machine overall.

Only drawback is position of power button next to a USB port on the sice of base. Too easy to press and put into sleep whe moving or changing position of screen.

It's a little slow but for the price I'd say it's worth it. Removing the preinstalled anti virus software helped speed things up considerably.

I connect a Bluetooth mouse so I don't always use the trackpad. This is the one complaint I have. I can't change the scroll settings on the trackpad. This model forces you to use swipe up to move the page down and vice versa. This is backwards to me and the control settings won't let you change it. Otherwise. Great device.

The 360° screen rotation is nice, allowing tablet use for sitting on the couch, and computer use when writing papers. If it came with 8 GB of Ram I would have given it a 5 star rating.
