I bought this laptop for school and I’m so glad I did! It has great storage, light weight and it’s the perfect size for my backpack if I need to carry it. I’m so happy with my purchase!

The Flex 4-14 is great. The only issue I have is I need to get used to only 256GB disk when my previous laptop had 1TB. I know there a model with a 1TB disk but I like the speed of the SSD drive!

Good feature set for basic/regular use. RAM and SSD is on the low end for more advance use but expected at this price point. Good overall.

It is light and fast but much better than my Dell because the screen is bigger.

This is a strong computer on paper, but in reality, it's not so hot. It makes me miss my dependable, logical Dell. All the specs measure up in this category, but it's a touchy, illogical device. What works? A good processor, great imagery, pretty responsive touchscreen, and the SS drive stands up to numerous shocks. It's quiet, it's cool, and the EMF reading is zero. What doesn't work? Well, for starters, the charger. I've gotten two, and the second one is as bad as the first. It simply falls out of the wall or extension cord. The slightest little shift in position, and you're no longer getting a charge. And despite all my efforts to set up the computer to hibernate when I close the lid, what happens is, when I next open the lid, the power is somehow already drained to below 20% (my alert level for a battery that needs to be recharged), I receive no warning (unless I deliberately look at the battery charger icon) that my laptop isn't properly charging until it just powers off completely, right in the middle of anything I'm working on. This happens almost daily. I'm so tired of this charger just falling out of a receptacle. Next, the touch pad. I don't like them, and I especially don't like the ones that close out my windows browser or any work I'm doing without warning if you touch it wrong. You can't disable it in settings. All you can do is keep hitting the F6 button each time you use the computer, as it resets back into play on every hibernation or screen closing, as far as I can tell. Third, the power button on the side of the machine. If you turn the machine to the right to read your screen in portrait mode (as I would do in reading an article or ebook) and stand it up, you power the machine off. Thank you very much. Why is it so hard to put a power button in a convenient spot, like the top of the keyboard? This machine tries my patience every time I use it. I'm adapting, and the mechanics work just fine, but I need a reduction in my stress level.
