Lenovo Flex chrome book

Best Buy sent it back to manufacturer which was a really easy process thanks Best Buy. Got the unit back quickly but after one day the same problem popped up again, very frustrating. This time the turnaround time to get the unit back take forever. Would not buy this model again although it has been working fine since the second repair.

Terrible quality

Best Buy store and online support: the worst i have ever had to deal with. Never again will I go back to Best Buy. Never again. They are so very unorganized its pathetic. the computer was returned a few nights ago and this review is actually about it. ... exactly. there is no same day delivery/ does not exist even though its widely advertised. the store is 10 mins from me...

Screen went blank after a month.

Had a battery issue and required a reset to restore screen. Otherwise operates well with nice features. Not sure what to expect for future reliability.

I cannot download anything. I never was able to use it and now website says it is not returnable. This purchase was a complete waste of money.

I wouldn't give this computer to my worst enemy

First of all, the computer constantly freezes, even if you only have a couple browser tabs open. Second, it doesn't run any software, so you better be good at using all the "cloud" software. Example, Microsoft Office 365 online can NOT edit CSV files in the cloud. Google Docs can but it does a mediocre job. Wifi network would often drop as well, this laptop is nothing but a headache and I would avoid and save your pennies for a Windows or Mac machine.

This Flex 5 13 Chromebook ships with the Chrome Operating System installed and uses Google Docs for office type programs. Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you currently have a Microsoft Office 365 Account, you can access that existing account through a Chromebook. Plus I could not get my other apps on the desktop. I don't think it's as easy to use as a windows computer.

This Flex 5 13 Chromebook is compatible with Google Play Store APPs. Not all of the Google Play Store APPs are optimized for the Chrome Operating System. We recommend you check with the specific APPs software publisher's web sites, of the specific APPs you want to use, for their compatibility with the Chrome operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration. Regarding putting APPs Shortcuts on the desktop of your Chromebook, Chromebooks have a desktop. However, you can’t put any apps or icons on it. While you can’t technically add apps to your Chromebook desktop, you can pin them to the Shelf to access them quicker. The Shelf is a row of apps located at the bottom of the screen. Think of it as the equivalent of the Windows taskbar. Nice Laptop But Broke After Only 3 Turn Ons

Issues with Audio.

Opened early January for the first time. Stopped working after 3 days and sent it to get fixed by Lenovo. I should’ve returned it to Best Buy because it was still in return window but instead went through the manufacturer. 2 weeks later Lenovo sent it back to me. Stopped working after 2 days. No longer in the return window and Lenovo can’t pinpoint the problem. Wasted almost $400 on a paperweight. Don’t buy Lenovo.
