I don't love Microsoft based but that's what my school required. Use chrome or opera browser to bypass Microsoft stuff. My kids love to use it for games and movies because of the flip keyboard.

Lenovo Flex 5i 14"

Like the touch screen, but it seems a little sensitive, so I need to see how to adjust the touch. WAY too many ads and pop-ups. Microsoft over does it and is a pain to clean up. Otherwise, the thing works great.

Just the right size to carry with you. I love Lenovo laptops. I used a 17" before and loved it but I really am enjoying this smaller 14" version, so much more convenient too

I only do the basics with this machine, and its much better than expected. Touch screen comes in handy. Mouse pad is why it loses a star. Buy a separate mouse for perfection.

Memory is soldered but 8GB should be enough if you are a light user. Like the 16:10 FHD display - clear and bright. Overall, very happy especially with this price tag.
