Doesn't support 120hz with Xbox Series X?

My son saved his own money to buy a 144hz monitor for his Xbox Series X and I thought this one would be a good value. So far, still running 60hz and the supplied HDMI does NOT help. Maybe it's only able to do 120hz on a PC? There is NO option on the monitor menu to change the refresh rate. I'm most likely returning this item unless someone can tell me what I'm missing.

Posted .Hi there, The Lenovo G27c-10 27 monitor model # 66A3GCCBUS features HDMI 2.0 which is next gen compatible. This monitor also features a 144hz refresh rate. If you are not getting your desired refresh rate with your Xbox it is likely a setting you need to change on your Xbox. Posted .The Lenovo G27c-10 Monitor, model number 66A3GCCBUS, ships with one HDMI 2.0 version port and one DisplayPort 1.2 version port. The G27c-10 Monitor will deliver a refresh rate through either HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 when connected to a compatible video source with a compatible cable.

Please ensure all screws and mounting hardware are connected and correctly tightened. Please ensure the feet of the stand are placed flat/level and wholly on the surface in which the monitor is used.
