This is a very good basic laptop with an Intel Core i3 processor at a great price. It is well made and has a very bright, clear display. It even connects to our 4G wireless network to get blazing internet speeds l100 Mbps download, 10+ Mbps upload). Also has VGA and HDMI outputs, which the new HP laptops don't seem to have (no VGA output on them)! Upgraded to Windows 10 as soon as we got it with no problems at all. Very pleased with this laptop so far!

I like this laptop don't get me wrong. For the $300-$400 price range its great. But I mainly use it for Microsoft access 2013 and occasionally it lags, not often but sometimes. Also the keys aren't the most sensitive. What I mean is am im typying things. Sometimes I misspell words because I didn't press a key hard enough. The trackpad is also off to the left a little more than I'd like but I get it, because it has the columns of numbers to the right. All in all would I purchase it again? Definitely, good quality, good speakers, quiet and doesn't get hot often. I'm happy with my purchase.

I'm not a power user and go days without using the computer. (I use my phone more for basic p.c. stuff.) The pc is pretty fast, good visuals, but i miss the slide bar on the touchpad and i wish i had picked a higher screen resolution. HD is fine for movies, but i notice the quality when compared to my phone resolution. At this price point, i can just replace it next year if it's still an issue.

One Best Buy staff was helpful enough to compare brands and prices. so far so good. It works well and has storage of upto 1 terabyte. Im in.

I am retired, so this laptop meets my needs. It does have one large deficiency though. The keyboard is pretty bad. The most prevalent problem is the space bar. If you press either end, it will not space. The 10 key also has similar problems with response. If you are a touch typist and you do not want to use an external keyboard, this is not the one for you. For me, it was cheap and is adequate. I paid $300 out the door.

Still adjusting to Windows 10 but am finding navigating and learning this computer to be fairly easy. Love the size of the screen.

I don't know much about computers..... expecially relating to memory and storage capacity..... I asked friends for advice and purchased this laptop.... According to them, it's a great deal.... It was easy to set up and I've had absolutely no problems....

Laptop is good, didn't like Windows 8.1 so I downloaded Windows 10 but I'm a Windows 7 kind of gal, so I'm still not using new laptop 100% of the time, going back and forth between new laptop and old laptop and praying my old laptop is not gonna die anytime soon. If this laptop was Windows 7 I would have rated it a 5 Star. Why must they mess with perfection !? aka Windows 7

Perfect size screen, RAM is perfect, and hard drive to boot. Price was within range of what I wanted to spend.

The machine is fairly light and handy. Long battery life per charge 3-5 hours on average depending on use. Good touch pad. The only problem is with the right and left click buttons which are too narrow and lowered into the keyboard surface with too much resistance. You can get your thumb's skin raw from sliding it over the sharp ridge of the hard plastic cut-out into which these pitiful controls descend with every searching thumb click.

I needed a basic laptop to surf the net, iTunes backup and simple photo storage. So far no issues after a month or so.. Do not expect great results for gaming or battery life. I was able to tweak the settings and get about 2 hrs of battery life during extensive usage. I plan to upgrade the ram to 16 gigs shortly.. Good basic computer for basic usage!

My last laptop was 8 years old. the Lenovo is an excellent upgrade. It is fast, great screen size. The battery will last forever. The start up menu is different from my older one and it is tough for me to get used to. The touch pad is large and slight to the left. It becomes frustrating, because it is constantly changing my screen view size or moving my curser. other than that I really love it.

This laptop has plenty of storage and speed. Much better than the HP that I have as my other computer. Right out of the box with what you need. I use it for photo editing and online college classes

The service when buying this computer was above and beyond what I am used to at other best buy stores the associate and geek squad personnel answered all questions and explained about the processors for what I needed. They made sure I bought what I needed and assured me that the open box was thoroughly check out and working perfectly. Now I just have to get used to windows 10.

I had intended to go with a slightly cheaper HP model, but the seller convinced me that the Lenovo G50 laptop was a better choice, if only for the Intel i3. It cost less than $80 more, and I am glad I got it. It needed a Windows 10 upgrade but was ready to take home within a day. The interface with home Wi-fi modem can be a bit iffy, but overall, I like this one for the value.

Plenty of space and speed. Just what I was needing for my photos.

I was a little apprehensive before I purchased this computer. After evaluating the specs and reading other reviews, I decided to give it a try. I did add additional 4gig to the ram which brings the total to 8gig. For I3 processor, 1tb hard drive and 8gig ram, I expect this computer to meet all my needs.
