I bought this laptop for my wife so she could play games and we could Skype. She loves the laptop, runs very well. Got it discounted as an open box item, but this laptop is a steal even at full retail! An i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB hard drive will not come this cheap from anyone else! My wife loves the huge 17" screen, and it plays most games very well! Would definitely buy again!!

THE REASON I GOT THIS LENOVO LAPTOP WAS BECUASE IT HAD SOME SIMULARITIES TO MY OLD (AND EXTREMLY SLOW HP LAPTOP I GOT IN 2011). For example, this Lenovo laptop had a 17.3" HD+ SCREEN & AN INTEL CORE i5 PROCESSOR. BUT WHAT REALLY GOT MY ATTENTION WAS THAT IT HAS A 1TB HARD DRIVE, 8GB OF RAM, AND THE BIGGEST REASON OF THEM ALL WAS THE PRICE!!! I COULD HARDLY BELIEVE I WAS GETTING IT FOR ONLY $399.99!!!!! WOW! IF I HAD TO DO PICK OUT A NEW PC AGAIN, I'D BUY THIS ONE!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY I SPENT!!!

Really like this laptop - wanted a laptop that does not have a touch screen feature. It has a nice big screen, bit heavy of if you are going to take on trips- But I plan on using it at home so I like the large screen. very fast.

I've purchased Lenovo before and haven't been disappointed by this unit either. I purchased this for its large screen and price point. It has Windows 10 and was concerned about lack of driver software available yet for older devices. I was able to connect and print with an older Canon printer so I was satisfied there. It was refreshingly free of bloatware which I always appreciate. It's not a powerhouse for gaming and such but for browsing, streaming and Office work, it was more than acceptable. Built in camera and mic worked well with Skype (download the Windows version for the desktop, not the app). For the money spent, I was satisfied with its performance.

There is so much factory-installed bloat on this laptop that at first glance it looks like a 17.3" smart phone that I did not want or need. But, once the bloat is removed, the laptop becomes a worthy computer with amazing screen clarity. I have had the Lenova for under two months, and thus far Windows 10 appears to be the best OS since Windows XP.

This Lenovo 17.3 " computer has been a good one for me except I had to learn more about windows 10 os. I had windows 7 before. We like the bigger screen size for games and it is really easier to read and see for older eyes. I would recommend this one for the money to anyone.

I took advice from computer tech to buy a Lenovo as he felt they were the best on the market. when I started looking as usual you get what you pay for and found Lenovo to be quite pricey. I also read as much information as I could on them and found 99% of people like them. I then decided this is what I wanted and began to watch the sales and finally Best Buy had this G70 on sale. I bought it on line and had it within a couple of days. I am not one to read directions so did the quick setup and off I went. I have had this for several months with no issues. It is quick easy to use and I love the big screen. I use mine for music I am a guitar player that uses Band in the Box and this works well. I do watch some movies on it and have to say I am impressed with the picture. The sound for a laptop is ok but I hook up speakers to this and it sounds awesome for both the music and movies. I am not a gamer so can't give you any information on this. I would recommend anyone looking for a good laptop at a decent price to buy it. I have not had any internet issues with it works great there. Micro-Soft 365 works great. Acrobat works great. I check my email and have no issues. All and all a great laptop.

Love the screen size, clarity and speed is great. Very user friendly and I had it up and running ready to go in very short time. Has more features than I need but the price was right and had all I needed on it. Best purchase I have made on laptop.

Good price good laptop for a 10 year old to do school work

I use this for work as a Software Engineer. Needed a bigger screen and hate paying for a gaming machine. Using Virtualbox and Intel virtualization. Was going to replace disk with SSD but really is fast enough.

The laptop is large. Screen resolution is very good. May not be the best for gaming but for word, excel, video, web search it is a very good machine and trouble free so far.

Works well. I have encountered only one problem. To date no one seems to have an answer. The number lock does not stay engaged. I find the mouse/touch pad sensitivity is TOO sensitive. The pointer seems to wander. I switched to a wireless mouse and have the problem after an hour or so. I also find the keys on the key board less sensitive than others I have used. It is a good price and works well, has a learning curve. I've used laptops for 18 years so I have a good working knowledge of laptops. For the price you would be hard pressed to find a better computer for this price.

Purchased the Lenovo G70-80 17.3 Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB - 1TB Hard Drive - Black due to the price, size and extras. I use Photoshop and the large monitor size is perfect. Plus, the image and color is great. Yes, it's bigger than what most want, but I don't travel with mine, so not a concern for me. With 8 gigs of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive, there is t much it won't handle. Only gave it 4 stars due to weight, even though it's large, it has a plastic cover (not aluminum) so I would think it could cut weight somehow. Very happy with it.

Works great and no real learning curve for the new operating system, windows 10. The processor is fast and accurate. It is not a touch screen nor does it have a lighted keyboard but you can't beat the value for what you pay.

This Lenovo G-70 is great for the price, I wanted a 17 inch screen,I compared several different laptops and for the price this laptop can't be beat for performance and features. Thanks

I love my new laptop. It's easy to use and the screen is large enough for me to see things clearly. I'm still getting used to Windows 10, but it's intuitive enough.

I was surprised to find a computer with an Intel core i5 processor for under $400 from a reputable company. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

After purchasing the first one we downloaded antivirus software and windows stop working so any problems the store allowed us to trade it for a new one within the 14 days. After getting the second one even with being skeptical due to the first one software crashing weary downloaded the same antivirus software successfully and the laptop is fantastic.
