I was super excited to have the opportunity to test this unit out (needed to upgrade anyway). Right out of the box set is quick and easy. No tools were required for the assembly of the touch screen monitor to the stand. The setup wizard is very user friendly and comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home edition. The carbon grey color of the one I received is very clean and modern looking. I was impressed with the quality build of the 10-key QWERTY keyboard not so much with the mouse (but I use a gaming mouse anyway). The computer is lighting fast and it took opening three games and running some user setup options before I could really bog it down. Even still, it made it through! We really like the quality of the camera and vast amount of storage space. This computer is a great workspace computer and in my opinion built as such. The graphics card and inability to upgrade internal components make it not a wise choice for us PC gamers. Nonetheless, a very nice computer is advanced enough to be relevant for the next several years.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaCentre 730s-24 All-In-One system should boo from off to the Windows 10 desktop in less than 40 seconds. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Lenovo 730S-24IKB All-in-one, touch-screen computer is the first AIO Touch-screen desktop computer that I’ve owned. I was excited to get it and have had a lot of fun using it over the past week. The most appealing feature of this AIO computer is obviously being able to get rid of the tower for a monitor only computer design that is ready to use after plugging in the power cord. Included in the box is a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, monitor/computer and monitor base. The keyboard and mouse both work very well and have a minimalistic design that matches the color and design of the computer. The minimalist design of the keyboard however does make for a smaller than usual keyboard which can feel a little cramped at times, probably because I have larger hands. Everything was very securely packed, and easy to unpack. Setup was extremely easy, you just plug it in, follow the on-screen prompts, connect to wifi and it’s ready to go. Having a near edge-to-edge display really makes the screen look much larger than what I was expecting from a 23.8” display. The display itself is bright and full of color, movies and games both look great. The touch-screen works very well and I plan to get a touch screen pen to use with it. I’ve been trying out some of the touch-screen enabled games in the Microsoft store and they’ve all worked very well and have been a lot of fun. At the bottom of the display is the camera with one infrared LED on each side. There is a shutter that you can slide to cover the camera. For me, this is a great security feature to have to be sure that nobody is using your camera to spy on you. The camera can also be used for added security using facial recognition. The camera itself works really great, the position works well and the image quality is really nice. I love that there are a wide array of ports on this computer, including an HDMI in/out, 1 USB-C, 3x USB 3.0, headphone jack, 3 in 1 card reader. I wish the computer came with more than 8Gb RAM but it is upgradeable to 16, which I might do if I feel I need it. So-far 8Gb has been sufficient for everything I’ve been doing which includes watching movies, working on spreadsheets, playing touch-screen enabled games, playing World of Warcraft and other online games. I’ve very pleased with this computer, and will highly recommend it for anyone looking for a general purpose, everyday computer that looks great, should last more than a few years and saves desk space!
