    Affordable option for basic home use needs. Compact, light and nice keypad. Keep in mind the USB-C port in this PC does not support display and cannot be used to connect to a docking station.

    We purchased this laptop last year after reviewing the specs and reviews. It didn’t disappoint. It enabled me to rebond with my corporate laptop and Windows OS that I lost upon retirement. It’s powerful enough for everyday tasks and is beautifully designed. We liked it so much that we purchased another as we didn’t want to risk traveling with it for fear of losing it or damaging it. Just great!

    Got it on sale for $300 for my elderly mother. Works about as well as a pc needs to. Scrolling Facebook, falling for internet scams, and forgetting the login password are the extent to which my mother utilizes it, but it works well and has a long battery so holding out hope that it’ll last a good couple years.

    When my 2020 Lenovo ThinkPad went "black" I immediately knew I wanted another Lenovo to replace it. I checked Best Buy and they were having a Labor Day sale that I could not pass up. I purchased this Lenovo IdeaPad and am very happy with the functionality and performance. This is perfect for the casual user as I am not a social media person or someone who uses a computer for sophisticated tasks. If there were one thing I would look to add to make this 100% ideal, it would be to have backlighting under the keys. My work computer has this feature and it really is a good one.

  • Solid performance for my needs

    And processer is pretty strong. Doing small video edits and it works pretty fast in my video conversion. I like how I have a number keypad. My only gripe, I use external monitor and keyboard and mouse, when the computer turns off it's display I can't wake it up. Only option is to never have the screen turn off for either "plug-in/out" and setup lock screen after x amount of time. Not sure if it is a Windows home thing or manufacture thing. Other than what it works well for my needs.

Since this IdeaPad does not feature an external power button, if the system sleeps, you must reopen the lid and wake the device before continuing use of the system. If you are doing so and the issue persists, we recommend installing Windows updates to see if this resolve the issue.
