    So far so good. I used to have a similar model with double the storage memory. This model sometimes runs out of processing memory, bit that is a minor issue.

    It works but it's a bit slow to turn on and start up and I have issues getting the Bluetooth to connect sometimes.

    The battery life on this Lenovo laptop is so BAD! Aside from bad battery life it takes forever to charge! The touch screen feature is neat but overall wouldn’t re purchase this laptop

      Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

    Horrible computer. Wanted to do this google chrome thing. I tried to get rid of it, but that's all this computer will do. I just wanted HP computer that does Windows11 without google chrome. Would advise you to choose this only if you are a big google fan.

      To start, since this IdeaPad 1 is a Windows based system, the default web browser is Microsoft Edge. While Edge is Chromium based, a platform that is used with Google Chrome, this is a separate browser. You can also import Google account data to Edge to retrieve your saved bookmarks and more, but this is optional.     Software issues off the bat

    Did not have it turned on for more than 45 minutes after initial set up and it was running super slow called the Best Buy geek squad. They told me that it already needed to be reformatted because the memory ram was corrupted

    Bad Business methods

    I purchased this Lenovo lap top September 8, 2025 on line with Best Buy. Less than a week later, the same laptop was advertised for $50 less. I called to inquire about getting a refund and was told that it wasn't allowed because the laptop was sold by an off market entity. From a consumer's point of view, the laptop was sold and advertised by Best Buy. Best Buy is a big retail store who could easily afford $50. I feel it was false advertising and I should have been awarded the refund. How am I supposed to know if was not sold by Best Buy when it was advertised on the Best Buy website. My credit card even indicates Best Buy. Not a happy consumer!!!

    Screen failed after only 3 1/2 months

    Thought this would be a good, general computer. Function was good until the screen failed after only 3 1/2 months of very light use at a home desk only. Best Buy Geek Squad did eval & said screen failure not covered under the limited warranty. Tried very hard to get in touch with Lenovo, but never got the promised callback. Had to laugh at the warranty: "Any pre-existing defects in your product that occurred on or before the date of your purchase." Means the warranty covers *nothing*. I would never purchase another Lenovo product.

    Very disappointed. The charge doesn't last long. The screen jumps around It works like it a refurbished instead of a new one. I should of got an HP or Mac.

      Please ensure that all available updates are installed through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. These updates can adjust power regulation leading to enhanced performance and can correct faulty or outdated drivers that may be causing the screen to jump around. To check for updates in Lenovo Vantage, start by launching the Lenovo Vantage app and selecting the “Check for updates” button on the right-hand side of the homepage. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page. After these updates are installed, please restart your device to ensure all program files are properly configured.

      Your device also includes the ability to change the active performance profile allowing user to prioritize better performance, better battery life, or quiet cooling.     Not what I was expecting from Lenovo

    Very slow and locks up all the time. I took it into the store a couple of weeks ago and was told that I needed more memory. This came with 8GB which should be enough. The tech played around with it a little and got the notebook working just fine. It's now locking up and slow again.

    No delivery no tv

    Never got the tv , 1st time best buy never set up the delivery so i waited 2 months then 2nd attempt to deliver they never delivered vud not find my house. They must not have had Gps in their truck. After that i cancelled the order, they said it was going to take another 3 wks for delivery.
