I bought this Chromebook because I was looking for something small and capable to tote around school. Browsing is fast and using Google Docs is a suitable alternative to my usual and preferred Microsoft Office on my over sized laptop. I live in a solid 4g area and I can use my phone for internet at any given time to make the most of my Chromebook. When I am at home I find myself using this product for web surfing or simple tasks needing Google Docs over my 17" laptop because of how comfortable it is on my lap (it is not heavy and it doesn't produce much heat). For a $150 I find this a decent buy and if this can last me at least a year before I transfer to the university then I will call it a steal of a bargain. CONS: 1) I had a few days where the Chromebook would log me off and it would continue to log me off when I logged back on. Eventually I notice that it was overheating in my lap despite not feeling hot. I simply solved this placing a book between my lap and the c-book. The days that this happened were exceptionally hot in my house and it may be only this that caused the Chromebook to misbehave. 2) For typing the keyboard is very effective and I don't recall anytime being frustrated with it. However, there are commands that take quite a bit to get use to such as instead of a caps button there is a search button. Still to this day I press that same button expecting to find the caps lock.

The Lenova Pad is Great for my 8 Year old. She loves it. It is user friendly, durable, and runs apps and windows well. It does not take long to boot up, it was a good price at $149 and it seems that it will last long enough to pass down to my other children when she outgrows it. It was a great buy and I would buy it again.

This Chromebook is light, portable, and great for work - as I am not always in the same location throughout the day. It was also fairly inexpensive - I like the size of the screen. Its easier to use than my smaller tablet.. I have already recommended this to several friends.

This Chromebook provide a simple, easy-to-use solution for most of our computing needs. It's light, thin, and perfect for Google docs and Internet search needs. The kids use it for all of their schoolwork and it works very well.

Awesome Chromebook! Fast, light, easy to carry anywhere, and super cheap! I can basically do everything I do on a regular PC (except downloading programs because it's not Windows, but hey! Everything is cloud based nowadays anyways). I highly recommend this Chromebook.

I have had this product for around a month and I am very happy with the purchase. Here is what I like about the product: - It is light and easy to carry. - It starts up and shuts down in seconds. - The browser experience is faster than my i5 laptop. - It streams Netflix and Amazon with no problems. - It has a large trackpad. - It automatically installed all of my Google/Chrome settings. - It runs for around 8 hours on a single charge. - It is a great value for what I paid ($149 on sale)

The Lenovo Chromebook is a perfect size. It easily fits in my workbag and is easy to use. The screen is a good size making any reading or work related assignments doable. Very happy with purchase.

Good device for basic web browsing - light weight, easy to set up and fast start up time. I've purchase a few of these and have not had any issues so far. Included warranty is shorter than other similar brands

My daughter has really enjoyed this laptop. She has been able to complete school work and presentations at home w this product. Love it. Kids friendly.

I'm a College student that carries a lot of book and papers, and this is very is to pack. Programs are great and I'm able to get the college basics done with ease.

Being a MacBook person I dreaded the thought of having to resort to something that wasn't apple friendly. But since I decided to go back to college online I wanted something newer that would just get the job done. And since my college prefers everything Google I decided to go for a chrome book. This one is by far the best decision I've made in terms of buying a laptop. It's affordable, does the job & its very simple to get used to. I've had it for close to a semester now, and with all the time I spend studying with my laptop it hasn't crashed yet (unfortunately expecting it to because the price is so cheap!). A couple of cons were that the caps lock button is replaced with a search button, but there is a shortcut to having caps lock so you don't have to hold shift the whole time. Also, it doesn't have a backlight to the keyboard. Other than that, this is a great pick for a new college student, especially if you're on a budget.

My 5th and 6th grader use it to do assignments and play. They each have their own.They love it. Good size. Great prize.

Good bargain for the price. My eighth grade student need one to complete homework that was assigned and knowing she could save it and retrieve it at school when needed so she could print it was great.

The chromebook did what it needed to do, but because it's all linked through the google account, it didn't reduce the amount of "clutter" on another shared computer; something we were hoping for. That said, it's still a great computer for our other needs (mostly web browsing and ancestry.com stuff)

I like this little Chromebook. My uses are limited to internet browsing, email, and maybe preparation of the occasional short document around the house. For these purposes, it's fast, light, extremely portable with more than adequate battery life, and simple to operate after a short learning curve for the non-windows operating system. The very best feature, however, is the freedom from the inundation of windows and related programs updates, each of which seem to take 10's of minutes, more often than is tolerable when you pick up a windows computer and try to do something with it. What a relief!

This laptop is super light weight and runs smoothly. This laptop is not a high performance device so keep in mind that you cannot run too many programs at once. If you're looking for something to take notes and do homework on this is perfect!

The 5 star is based on the quality/price ratio. Otherwise it would be a 4. Pros: True Chrome operating system, good solid build, fast startup time. Cons: A little slower bringing up web pages compared to my top-the-line Windows laptop, poor quality screen display (compared to my 1920x1080 Windows laptop). I would recommend getting a resolution greater than 1366x768, but I don't think that is available for a 11.6 display. Overall it is well worth the price.

This is a perfect computer for checking emails, using the internet and minor computing. Very light weight perfect for travel.

Exactly how it was described. I'm old school so it took me a little while to get used to not saving stuff on my computer and saving it on the 'cloud' ! I take it every where its so portable and doesn't weigh you down.

I would highly recommend purchase of this item as I was unsure until after using. It's great for the price.
