I love this little laptop, it saves me a lot of space on my backpack. It is vey very lightweight . I am happy with this purchase, and I founded on sale for $129.99 It is not bad at all. Overall it's perfect laptop for school work.

I purchased three Smart HD tv's from Best Buy within the past two weeks. Two are gifts. The one for me, a Samsung Smart HDTV is awesome. Easy set up and auto connectivity to my other devices. I love this feature. Picture and sound are great. An awesome value for price paid...

Good laptop as long as you are aware of limitations = 1) Relatively low powered processor - OK for web browsing, office, light programming, etc., however, not ideal for med/heavy duty graphics or programming. 2) Small storage - watch out what you are installing and get a microSD card for storage. 3) Other compromises include USB 2 (not 3) ports, no gesture on the trackpad - I got a cheap bluetooth mouse w/ a scroll wheel to use. 4) Great battery life and very light weight.

This is a great portable Windows 10 machine. If you need a small Windows Laptop as a secondary computer, this fits the bill. The display is matte so there is little reflection from glare, bright and colorful. It is perfect for streaming, checking emails and the internet, and very portable. If you want to do photo shop or CPU/GPU intensive tasks, this is not for you but if you need a secondary laptop that is very portable, has nice display and can do casual everyday computing tasks this is it. The keyboard is comfortable and easy to use. The keys are nicely spaced. The track pad is smooth and responsive. Need more storage, just add a microsd card, the microsd card fits flush with the laptop, or use the cloud. Includes one year of Microsoft Office 365. Possible cons: Track pad is basic, has left and right click buttons instead of gesture support. Speakers sound muffled but using earphones the sound is good. The screen does not support touch.

I've been using computers since 1988. I can't tell you how many I've bought over the years, but it's been a lot. I recently needed something inexpensive and light to carry around. I'm well aware of the compromises made manufacturers when it comes to low end machines. I actually bought another more expensive model before I bought this. I ended up returning the first because it preformed so badly. I hesitated buying this, but in the end the price of 129 on sale made me give in. The fact is I wish I'd bought it right away. It's light, quick and just works well. The battery is great, lasting 8 hours average. The screen while not comparable to 600+ dollar computers is not bad at all and I have no complaints. I added a large micro SD card and I have plenty of storage. I bought 95x card and programs run very well from it. If your a gamer of course lol elsewhere, but if you use office(1 year included), watch videos, do light programming, use for school or surfing the net, this is one to consider. I have been so pleasantly surpluses buy this computer I'd recommend it anytime if it fits your usage.

Given the price of this laptop I didn't expect too much. I bought this to do some light internet surfing. The laptop looks nice, feels well made, and while not fast it performs as should be expected for the price. The giant frustration with the Lenovo 100s is the trackpad. No two finger scrolling or scrolling control on the side of the trackpad really makes web surfing a frustration. You can often use the down and up arrows to scroll, but it is just not the same as being able to quickly scroll down a little with the trackpad. The trackpad is also not coated with a special coating. It is the same hard plastic as the rest of the computer and fingers don't always slide on it like most trackpads (usually if hands are moist) With trackpad improvements I'd give this a 5/5 for what it is, but I really feel the trackpad issues take it down to "just OK"

My Mac laptop was on the outs, and I needed something quickly in order to complete work. I didn't need anything with any special features, and I saw that this Lenovo Ideapad was on sale for $179. I purchased it in white, and so far it's met my needs, and it is SUPER light, which I really like. The only thing that I don't like, and this speaks more to Windows system than the actual laptop, is the constant updating of my computer. After the first auto-update within the first 2 weeks, I noticed a marked slow down in my processor. I haven't installed a bunch of programs or software - like I said, I just needed basic stuff (MS Word and an internet browser.) Overall, a great little laptop if you only want/need it for basic stuff.

I picked this up on a whim. Typically an Apple user, this laptop does exactly what I need it to do. It doesn't have much memory but I knew that already and I save everything to my Microsoft acct. The screen resolution isn't as great either but again I knew that already no big deal for what I use it for. On a budget I'm satisfied I didn't spend more on a different laptop. It's small, light and perfect carrying size. The battery life is surprisingly good too. And I like the search feature it has... works similar to Siri and it ACTUALLY finds what your searching for. No issues connecting to wifi connection or Bluetooth printer.

I bought this computer to use a laptop only for school. It is perfect for me! It's small and lightweight, very easy to carry around. If you're looking for a desktop replacement or if you're going to be doing lots of gaming, you'll want to purchase a more high end higher priced model. But for simple web browsing, and email this budget friendly model does the trick. One thing it does frequently is loose it's wifi connection. Not while using it, which is good, but after a few hours of not being in use, I need to reset the wifi connection. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Price to functionality ratio is exceptional. I got mine for $130 on sale. It's slow, but it works fine most of the time. I've had to do a few odd reboots, but everything went back to normal. Win10 does a few things that are slightly buggy, but it's tolerable. I use this thing mostly for travel. At this price it's no big deal if it gets lost, stolen, or broken. It's the same cost as a mid-level tablet, but I like the keyboard and good battery life. Keyboard is not bad for its size.

This was a birthday gift for my 12 year old. It works great for her as a beginning computer user. Not much memory and not many options on the laptop. It is great to do her school work on.

This laptop is a life saver. I needed to get an affordable laptop for my new college and every class needed one. I saw this cute little laptop that was easy to transport every where. I like it and I always get compliments. Don't expect a fast apple computer but expect something to get the job done. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase for the cost. I just wish it had more space though.

It's light. Fits comfortably in my bag. Was easy to set up. The only thing that was a bit weird was MS Office. It was advertised as coming with a one year free subscription to MS Office. Although this true, what is not explained to you is that one year subscription starts the day the program was installed by the manufacturer. In my case the unit I purchased had MS Office installed 6 months earlier. I raised a stink about it to Best Buy. They told me to contact Lenovo the manufacturer. Lenovo told me to contact Microsoft. Microsoft told me it was Best Buy's problem. So I did a full circle. Thankfully the store manager made good on it and got Geek Squad to install a brand new subscription of MS Office on my laptop. Good service earns loyalty. Best Buy will continue to retain my electronic needs because of this manager's decision to right a wrong.

It's an awesome laptop! Great for the price. Very affordable if you're on a tight budget. It still runs slow after a couple of months. Light weight. Portable, lets you complete work on the go. Great for beginners, students, etc. I love it! Wish it came with a laptop case or cover that's water proof. If anyone knows if a great laptop cover or case for this specific product, comments are welcome. I love it! Thank you.

I bought this as a gift for a first time user on her birthday. She likes the looks and the fact that it's easy to carry around. Plus it serves all the functions she needs a computer for. On the other hand the storage capacity is low and had to be supplemented with an external drive.

This is my first PC as all others are/have been Apple. However, I didn't want to spend Apple's $$$ for a laptop when I needed it for one writing function. I am able to transfer files back and forth between my Mac desktop and Lenovo Ideapad without problems. I knew it wouldn't be fast going in so I'm OK with that. Updates are extremely slow. But, it is very light for transporting and has great battery life. The keypads are comfortable, too. For the money, I got what I needed and am pleased. 4 stars because I couldn't install Word365 which was supposed to be free for 1 yr. I purchased Word365 for 5 computers so updated my Mac version of Word and then was able to put it on the Lenovo laptop.

I was looking for a laptop for my wife to take to school with her. Nothing too fancy, but not painfully slow. This laptop fits the bill. I did some cleanup and adjusted some of Windows 10's setting to get the fastest experience possible from the tiny processor. The battery life seems great and is extremely light. She's been using it for a few months now and I haven't heard any complaints.
