This Lenovo laptop is really more of a notebook. It is light weight and great for travel with a screen larger than many tablets. This machine came with Windows 10 and is ready for surfing the web, downloading and viewing shows and movies as well as light computing needs. With a USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports there is room for adding external memory, an external disk read/write unit.

When first setting up / turning on this computer, slow speeds will be noticed on the account of windows update daemon consuming all the available resources. Let all updates finish which may take a *DAY*<-- of multiple reboots! One may even need to run "Windows Update Troubleshooter" downloaded online at microsoft.com. At that point, the computer will run great. Best of luck!

Picked this up refurbished as a quick replacement for my laptop. It's pretty good for cruising on the net, and really not much else, which is why I got it anyway. It's quiet, doesn't get too hot, but also will start to slow down when too many programs are open, which is to be expected. Not a bad accompaniment if you already have a desktop PC and don't do the whole smartphone deal.

I wouldn't recommend this because the memory gets low quickly and so does the hard drive. You can't upgrade the memory and the hard drive. I did add a micro sd card so that Windows can update. The only cool thing about this thing is that it's light and battery life seems pretty good.

Great price, good value. Useful for web surfing but a bit underpowered for lots of spreadsheet work.

I needed an inexpensive laptop for my school work. The Lenovo Ideapad was perfect for everything I required. I am very happy with my purchase.

great notebook, super light and holds a charge for several hours; excellent for trips. Very nice keyboard - keys not too small like on some micro laptops. Great deal for under $130. Have had for several months and still works great.

The ideapad meets my needs and works great for e-mail and small tasks. It is advisable to have a thumb drive since the memory is very small.

Got this lap top so we could use the computer upstairs instead of just the basement. Good little lap top for basic needs. Does not have a have a way to play DVDs or install games ect with a disk but that's not a huge deal for us. If you run too many programs at once it slows down but as long as you aren't trying to multiple take it's a great computer for a low price.

I use this when I have to do work on the go, and it fits the purpose. Great battery life, and snappy performance. Couldn't really ask for more from a unit this size. Working great for 4 years now.

Puchased for a teen and works great for his uses. Great price point for a good quality product.

This was a gift for my kid who is going to high school. I wanted something very portable and slim that could fit in a backpack, and this fits the bill. It has enough power that they can use it with many different programs but small enough to easily travel with. The white color is quite nice and crisp. My only complaint is that the keyboard is a bit buggy.

I got this for my daughter as a Christmas gift I really like the look and is very sleek.. I got the white it works well but did have to buy a memory card as it only has 2g of internal. My daughter likes it, but couldn't do what she wanted to without it. But for the money you really can't go wrong and it is serving it's purpose.. Its a good buy!!

Nice design, the design makes users feel really comfortable and super easy to take it anywhere. But the battery seemed to be too small

This lightweight notebook is very portable with most features for word processing and general computer tasks. The three USB ports add flexibility. The flash memory is limited, so you'll want a portable hard drive or a high capacity flash drive to save work. I've found this computer available at sale prices from time to time; as a special, it's a good value.

Is very light weight and easy to carry. I'm not sure is just me, but I found it kind of slow and I don't think it should be too slow.

I'm using it as a music player/streamer. Using a relatively cheap USB DAC and a USB hard drive. The display is nothing to write home about, but not bad once adjusted. Boots up fairly quick and is surprisingly snappy in its performance. Memory is limited so keep in mind. No issues surfing or streaming video. All in all an excellent value when on sale.

For the money I don't think it will get any better. The only thing I wished it had was touchscreen, but other then that it's great!

Everything you need for your in home office. Light and powerful, a tool absolutely necessary.
