It seems very fast to me - just a few seconds starting up and no noticeable lag in browsing with firefox or opening pdfs. About 12GB free on first startup. Screen is matte and easy to see even in sunlight. Seems like a really good value thus far for an ultra-portable limited need laptop.

The Best for its Price!

Very light. The only comment I have: Microsoft sends too many updates, that one day it was not able to update. Went to Microsoft store and they restored it and put most current version of Windows 10 (back in November 2017) and it works like a charm. The Best! Paid $109 during a promotion in April 2017.

The Lenova Ideapad met the criteria I was looking for and when put on sale by BestBuy it was a no brainer to buy it. After 4 weeks of use including 2 weeks overseas I am pleased to report it ticks every box of the criteria I was looking for.
