First off, I would like to say that if you are looking for a laptop for the following: Gaming of any kind, entertainment, relying on it to be your primary computer with the capacity to satisfy most all your needs, running any other software programs aside from Microsoft Office, storing media (photos, music, etc.), storing a significant amount of documents, streaming a lot of videos, multi-task work, decent speakers, touch screen, lightning fast speed, being able to use a lot of apps, etc. then please STOP reading these reviews, click outta here, and look for a different laptop. This one will NOT do any of the aforementioned, and you WILL be wasting money, period. Even if you are looking for a cheap laptop as a gift for someone, this is probably NOT going to be a good one for that, either. With that said, you are probably wondering why on earth I am giving this 5 stars. This is because I knew upfront that this laptop could not and would not be any good for the items I just mentioned, and for the purposes that *I* specifically need it for, it works wonderfully, and actually exceeds my expectations for the price. I actually love it. Here's why: I needed a small, lightweight, super-inexpensive laptop while my primary (and expensive) one is getting fixed. I wanted a rock-bottom price, and did not care to sacrifice a lot for it, since this laptop will serve as a backup to my primary one while traveling or sitting in bed, etc. I did NOT choose a Chromebook, mainly because the inexpensive ones in this genre do not have a Windows operating system, and they don't do Microsoft Office. I like to blog in Wordpress, use email, and I frequently use Excel and Word. I hate (and I repeat, HATE) Google Docs or any other fakey semblance of Microsoft Office...I need to have the real thing while I am working on stuff. I do not do online gaming (busy mommy - no time for that stuff); when I stream videos, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. I use the Roku box on my TV, my iPhone 7+, or one of our (many) tablets. All I wanted is to get a super cheapie-cheap-cheap laptop for light web surfing, blogging, email, and Microsoft Office. That's it. When I got this laptop, I even removed a lot of stuff that came pre-loaded on it, and skipped loading anything it suggested that I knew I was not going to use or need. And it runs GREAT, ONLY because of this. To be honest, it just can't handle anything much more than that, which is what I think it was created for in the first place. I honestly think this laptop really is for a much smaller audience than most people assume. If you are only going to use it for moderate web surfing, email, blogging, a little social media, working on Word documents, maybe doing a little taxes on it, and LITERALLY nothing more than that, this is a little gem at this price-point. To be honest, most tablets perform most of those functions already. I need to type on a physical keyboard a lot each day, and need to use Windows 10 and MS Office....otherwise I would just use one of our tablets and not bother. If you are a student and just need a light laptop to type notes and documents on, need to use Windows, etc. this is really a bargain if you are tight on money. If you are a parent who has a tween/teen in high school who needs a laptop for typing essays or making small PowerPoint projects (again - no gaming or most other entertainment stuff), this works great. I caught this on sale for 129.00, and for what it does at that price, I'm happy. The screen is pleasantly bright and just big enough to not be too tiny, and there is no noisy fan running, feeling like it's going to overheat in your lap, etc. It's cute, but definitely nothing fancy. It's light, thin, and plastic, but doesn't feel like the cheapest thing out there, either (and I love how light it is - it fits in my purse!). While I am working on it, I almost feel like I am working on a regular computer with more capability than it actually has. Once you get it all charged up and set it appropriately to not suck down the battery too fast, the battery life is actually pretty impressive. I think it claims 8 hours, and I don't think that's too far off (at least, it isn't for me). I know I get at least a good 6-7 hours of steady use before it starts running low. That's more than I get out of my WAY more expensive lappy. There are a lot of reviews that complain about the speed, but it's really not that bad if you only keep the most basic essential stuff on it and eliminate the rest. This doesn't come with much memory. If you try to, say, stream Netflix in one window and have a bunch of things going on at once...yep, that is going to be where you see it start to get sluggish. It's doesn't multitask very well, but if you're only using it the way I am, you're not going to have a problem with that to begin with. It's not going to be the fastest thing on the market, no. It's not enough of a difference for me to notice while I am working on a spreadsheet, blogging, or using Word. I use it with a little wireless mouse and it works flawlessly. I haven't seen it lag much while browsing, either - so long as I don't have a ton of tabs up and running all at once. For the price, there's going to be a lot - and I mean a LOT - of limitations. I know this review is ridiculously long, but I am hoping it saves a lot of people from wasting money on it because they thought they were going to get more out of it. I also hope it helps people who need a laptop similar to how I use it make a more informed decision. It's really a great machine for what it's intended for, but it's not going to work for a lot (if not most) people who are enticed to check it out because of its low price. For those of us that it DOES work for - it's fantastic.

I bought a laptop for a great price on Memorial Day and gave it to my daughter. I tried again on Labor Day and found an ever BETTER price. It meets all my needs and I didn't get upsold (although he tried,) Just what I was hoping for.

I needed an inexpensive replacement for my daughter to use for her homework assignments. This small versatile laptop has exceeded my expectations and I got it for a steal! I would recommend it for a student or a recreational computer user.

I had the red one. Decided to get one for my mom. Handles heavy excel use while responding to emails. Never slows down when merging data either.

This is a perfect inexpensive litle laptop for my needs. Needed it for travel to transfer video in to a hard drive and it has done the job!!

I needed a computer for web browsing and this computer does the job! It's light and small enough to pack up and take around with you for use.

Bought this so I could take this to work and read my classbooks on lunch does really great boots up quickly and screen is just the right size

This laptop never worked for my school needs, right from the start. EXTREMELY slow processing, almost NO storage capacity to save your files, and such low memory that even brand spanking new, it did not meet the system requirements for proctorio, which is an online exam proctor browser extension that my school required on every online exam. Which made this laptop virtually useless for my school needs.

I bought this laptop because I thought the 32GB are good for me, but when I looked the disk space, it has the disk full of “neccessary” documents or programs to run Windows in it.

This computer has never failed me and its a great little computer for my 10 year old!! I highly recommend this to everyone

This laptop was a little slow. It's a great laptop for a beginner. However, it does scratch very easily.

Bought this for my kiddos to use for homework and it was great and easy to use. They did a bit of gaming on it too

Fast. Cheap. Well built. Windows 10. I love it. Great to take on trips. I use it to stream music into my PA system. Perfect for that job.
